Well good thing you can do this by yourself. Because I'm going to test what Winter has just posted and see if it's right. This map is pretty easy to solo, it's just Falkis 2 that would be a pain since he shifts around too much. Helps that the monsters are level 20 for C. =)

I do about 200+ damage with my 25% Light Asami-zashic. :3:

Winter Storm Nov 2, 2007 11:37 PM

It seems that the second chip in block two is random. If it's not behind the door, it will be in the rubble.

Trance Machina Nov 3, 2007 12:41 AM

This was bull shit. Me and Miles got a 10 on the mission which gave us a full 40 points, but apparently our inventories were full so we didn't get the Rappies. We tried again (got 7) and no Rappies even though we have 40 points.

Getting a 10 was aggrevating enough, got to get it again. >:/

EDIT: Heard/Read that you missed out if you had a full inventory, I hope that's not true.

Miles Nov 3, 2007 12:45 AM

I'll try to get 10 points again to see if it gives me my feathers. If not I'll probably send Sega a hate email. ;_;

I guess there's no way to recover it and all you can really do is get 10 points on the higher ranked missions to attempt to earn it again. I sent Sega's psu tech support a angry email anyway. I told them they should include a fucking option to drop something you don't need when a mission offers you a reward when your inventory is full. Of course they probably won't respond or just apologize.

Yeah, I thought so. Looks like I have a week to get to level 50-60 because B ranking is going to be a bitch with all the monsters being 55-65. Y_Y

There is hope that Sega will do something. I mean, they did compensation for all those who got their rooms hacked in the PS2/PC servers. Maybe if enough people complain they will do something. But I don't know if it will work that way, it'd be hard to provide proof too.

Thank god I'm reading this now. I will now tell everyone else to make sure their inventory is NOT full when they get their feathers.

Here's the walkthrough for Colony again, which I modified abit.

Colony was random, you had maybe a 1/10 chance of getting a map that could actually have all the monsters spawn in it. If you look at the first colony picture, you'll notice it shows a red arrow. You could stand there and look across at the gate to see if it was a correct map, and increase that 1/10 to about 1/3.

Bascially it went like this:

Block 1:

kill up the hallway, get the key, kill back down the hallway, which would lead to a portal that would send you to the lower section. Do some more killing, and get to block 2. In the bad version, the portal is blocked off, and you go straight to block 2.

You can actually tell right away if Block 1 has the right map within the first pannon spawn. Go to the part of the balcony where theres no railing blocking you (Though the game invisible wall will block you.) and go first person view. Way beyond on your slight left is a red laser gate. If there is one of those red/orange signs with a cross/X symbol next to the laser gate on the RIGHT, like, right near it, then it is the right map. If its just the laser gate and there's nothing else near it, then its the bad map.

There is usually already one orange X sign across where you start before going to the Blue Starting point laser gate. That sign always there in every map, so in other words, if you see TWO Orange/red X signs, then its the right map. If you just see one, than its bad.

If people are still baffled of the above, I will post screencaps for this later tomrrow.

Block 2:

From where you start, there will be a chip behind the door that YOU JUST CAME THROUGH to Block 2. If its not there, you need to goggle a piece of rubble to get it later on. After you kill the first room, a portal will spawn, that will send you to another room with firey traps. You'll continue on, till the last block, where you need to shoot a switch on the cieling, to get a chip. In the bad version of this map, instead of the portal sending you to the fire traps, it'll send you a few rooms further.

Block 3

Pretty straight forward, theres a few different paths that the chip can spawn on. In the good verison, you'll go to a 4th block, in the bad version, you'll go straight to the boss.

Block 4 (Random):

You fight seed magashi. Hes cake with burn traps.

Fakis: Depending on your map variant, you'll either fight a) Both forms, b) First form only, or c) Second form only. In the 10 point version of the map, I believe you only fight the second form. Though I personally have fought both forms and gotten a 10.

Remember, you don't need the right map to get an 8 for Ex mission. Once you got your 10s and feathers, forget this crap and focus on time and chips.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trance Machina Nov 3, 2007 12:04 PM

The mission is pretty fun and easy to pass when you are not worried about getting 10 points. Dulk Fakis is a pretty cool boss despite the fact he's level 20 and can do 800+ damage to everyone in one attack. Which makes him scary to me on B rank, how much is he going to be doing there I wonder. :P

Also screw you Kairi :P

Nexius Nov 3, 2007 12:39 PM

Still haven't gotten a 10 map here... But found my first Rappy spawn. Four of 'em total, it was in a map where I got the general guy NPC (Can't remember his name) and fought a whole bunch of Pannon at the end. Chip 1 was behind the door, and 2 through the portal, if that clarifies the map any.

DarkMageOzzie Nov 3, 2007 02:29 PM

Me and one of my friends who just started the game will be on later tonight if anyone wants to help us do a couple runs.

Winter Storm Nov 3, 2007 07:00 PM

I'm now untouchable in this mission thanks to my 50% dark assino-senba. I'm broke now though, but that 9mil was worth it. Getting a little annoyed at all the FF S ranks that are eluding me while other class S ranks are falling to me. So far thee S rank twin daggers have waved at me but didn't stop for a conversation in my inventory.

(these boards are going to get me a lot of money atleast)

EDIT: FFs can't use Srank Twin daggers. blah blah blah, well the Diaga-misaki wouldnt ever drop during nuedaiz and Fuka-misaki didn't wave nor stop by to say hello.

Lukage Nov 4, 2007 12:10 PM

*will be home in a few hours to do some runs*

Miles Nov 4, 2007 12:13 PM

Why is magashi such a huge pain in the ass on B rank? It takes longer to beat him than both parts of the final boss. =\

Lukage Nov 4, 2007 12:14 PM

Its the same as the end of Neudaiz, where your boss is easier than the preceding enemy you fight.

Para Nov 4, 2007 02:51 PM

Magashi has a lot of hp lol maybe more than a carriguine

A few runs last night produced 1 [B] Crimson and 2 [B] Gizaha-Zashi

What level are you now? Stop playing more than me damnit. >:/

Winter Storm Nov 4, 2007 04:05 PM

SEED-Magashi has entirely too much HP. The mission is already a huge PP drain, and then when you get to him, its likely you'll run out of charges, mates, etc..

Para Nov 4, 2007 05:59 PM

run out of charges? Mmm didn't happen to me but I guess running out of charges just tells you that your PT

1) isnt doing work and you're doing all the work
2) a crappy PT altogether wich a really low damage effectiveness
3) not bringing enough spare weapons to use

Winter Storm Nov 4, 2007 08:33 PM

I keep running into number 2 it seems. The more and more I get these parties, the more and more stronger I wanna be. I have 995ATP for crying out loud.. well as they say, in things of teamwork, one person alone cannot make a difference. I was in a real bad party this morning. 41 minutes..41. I logged off for the rest of the day.

And have yet to be in party capable of clearing the bonus(excluding neudaiz).

Kairi Li Nov 5, 2007 01:33 AM

I posted this in the walkthrough, but here it is again about SEED Magashi.

Bring some Burn traps. 4 Burn traps should off it alot sooner. If you can't bring in any, see if any of your party members can use traps. Makes life alot easier.

Para Nov 5, 2007 02:53 AM

I've cleared the bonus a few times... got a Tero All Save.

ADDING: I didn't know I'd get the Rappy Suit that way. Anyways, walking around with a Song For Death and Rappy Suit rocks. <3 Makes me feel better after NOT RECIEVEING MY DAMN RAPPY FEATHERS DUE TO A FULL INVENTORY.

You mean, you wanna get this game and play it?

DarkMageOzzie Nov 6, 2007 11:36 PM

Ok seriously this is annoying me. Alot of times lately GameGuard will randomly time out trying to connect to the update server, but then it opens the game anyhow and crashes. What the heck is up with this?

Kairi Li Nov 6, 2007 11:40 PM

Might wanna check if the Data execution program is messing with gameguard and PSU. Also if you hadn't update AVG virus protection program, there will also be problems.

Check the official forums and in troubleshoot section and see if others have solutions to similar problems.
