OH HAY Majora's Mask. I tried using freethewads on the [E] version and while it worked the sound in the game actually came out really weird. I'll just wait for a release of the NA version now. Assuming it's not out already. :3:

I thought Majora's Mask always have some sound problem on the original N64 too... unless it's a different kind of sound problem (after all, you are trying to play a PAL game on a NTSC system/TV).

Anyway, the NA version is out there.

Yeah, good thing I own the GC disc with all the Zeldas. I get rumble support. Sure the sound is still occasionally fucked but.

No, it sounded like one of the audio tracks was off by a few milliseconds, creating a really odd reverb-type 'effect'. It was probably cause it was a PAL VC game. I picked up the NTSC version anyway though, cause I've been wanting to play it again, and a friend of mine has my Zelda GC discs.

Speaking of which, time to go find his Facebook page and track him down...

I don't know when the hell America's getting Rainbow Island: Towering Adventure, but avoid it. Shit DS game, shit PSP game, shit WiiWare game, shit upcoming XBLA port of the shit WiiWare game.

Please leave Rainbow Islands' corpse alone, Taito. You can go to jail for this sort of thing!

Is FFIV:TAF the full version, or part 1 of 9? I've read conflicting reports, and I wouldn't put it past Square to charge $72 for the full game.

I'd have to check the Wii Shop Channel again, but so far on Nintendo's website I haven't seen anything relating to it being "Part 1".

I'm reading now that there's one additional chapter (Rydia) posted for 300 points. Hopefully additional chapters will cost that much as well.

How the fuck has this not already been mentioned? It probably deserves its own thread.

Tales of Monkey Island is developed by Telltale, whose team includes designers and artists who worked on all of the previous Monkey Island games. The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition is being developed internally by LucasArts, the company that started it all with the original Monkey Island games.

“We couldn't be any more excited about bringing Monkey Island to today's gamers -- both in our special edition of the original classic, and through our collaboration with Telltale on the episodic series,” said LucasArts’ President Darrell Rodriguez. “We can't wait for Guybrush Threepwood and LeChuck to return to gamers’ screens.”

Telltale's Tales of Monkey Island brings the adventures of pirate Guybrush Threepwood into a new era with an explosive storyline that becomes deeper and more entangled during the course of the five-episode saga.
