Ahahahaha Shin's turn
During the weekend haaaaaaaa :( Anyhow here's Motsognir's wiki, so now all of you will know precisely what options are available to prevent your getting eaten alive Last fight in the dungeon, people. No sense bein' stingy. |
I'm not spending a daily on some dragon, what if there's a werewolf? :colbert:
I... oh crap, you only get one second wind per encounter/day?
1 per encounter, yeah.
Otherwise all the healing/inspiring words and so on would be kind of redundant. |

It was totally worth the wait though. |
Ok that ruled pretty hard.
If a creature is asleep, will hitting it automatically wake it up? I mean, if we're only going to get one pop at an unconcious dragon it would make sense for it to be one of the fighers' hardcore daily attacks rather than a crappy ice spell from Bob, right?
Well, normally it would. But in the case of Bob's sleep spell it can't wake up earlier than its next saving throw, at the end of its next turn. So you've all got at least that long to pummel on it, possibly longer if it fails to save.
(which is, yeah, pretty overpowered and I looked pretty hard for a way around it, but no, you knock the fucker out and he's a pinata) |
The weakened state caused by Bob's Ray of Enfeeblement reduces a targets attack power right?
Cuts their damage output in half, yeah.
I recall you saying that the number of action points you accumulate in a day is reset to 1 when you go to sleep. That means we all have an action point we can throw at the dragon, right?
Yes.
5-character minimum. Actually, let's go over the difference between shifting and walking again because some of us are still having trouble. :) :) :) :) :) When you shift, you move ONE SPACE. If you move more than one space, you didn't shift, and no amount of insistence will change this. However, shifting does not provoke opportunity attacks! This is what makes it worth doing! Shifting is safer than walking, which in turn is safer than running. Exceptions, of course, are made for powers which move you more than one space but refer to it explicitly as a shift, such as Expeditious Retreat et cetera. If the power says you shift, you shift, even if it would otherwise be absurd. |

Yes.
You did. This was a natural 20, right? |
So basically what I'm seeing here is that a dwarf's rage is more powerful than gravity.
I'm sure if Polish labourers can carry a load of bricks up a ladder without falling off then a highly trained Dwarven Paladin can manage it carrying an axe and a shield.
Can I stand within one square of an enemy, though on a different level, and use commander's strike? Like, if I stand directly below Gabe, can I make him lay into that archer again?
Alas, no. The target has to be an enemy that you could theoretically hit yourself.
