Eventually, his acting career will slow down. So what's a good way to make some money quickly? Wrestlemania 25, five years since his last!

dagget Mar 7, 2007 09:15 AM

Yeah, but you're assuming he's going to come back to WWE. Big Show left WWE because of the schedule and nagging injuries and stuff, and when they tried to contact him about a contract renewal and offers to have his intellectual property, he turned them down. There's talk that Angle wants him in TNA. If that happens he can't use either The Giant or Big Show (Since The Giant is a WCW trademark and Big Show was WWE's).

Seeing Rock go to TNA would not only blow their ratings through the roof, it'll have actual grounds to be the next WCW and force Vince to actually be original and try and cook up something to beat the opposition.

Slash Mar 7, 2007 11:45 AM

I really don't see The Rock going to TNA...I could see Vince giving him more money so that he doesn't go to tna

Winter Storm Mar 7, 2007 01:10 PM

http://www.wwe.com/shows/ecw/superstars/alphamale/

Wasn't he in TNA?? With that lame move where he whips himself to ropes and THROWS his whole body at his opponent??

Slash Mar 7, 2007 03:03 PM

You just now found that out? And actually he uses a high angle armbar as a submission finisher...much like burchill did when he first appeared

Money? LOL. Remember, Rock's married to some high up Vice president of Merryl Lynch. I don't think money would be an issue.

I guess because people don't see TNA has "viable" wouldn't see huge WWE talent going there. The WWE schedule is intense, as in they travel what, 320 days a year? Where TNA is taped in Orlando and now the occasional house show (Which I REALLY need to find the tickets to the one here in Chatt unless it's already happened) and PPVs are starting to be taped in other arenas. The schedule isn't as tiring on the wrestlers. Hell most are paid on a "per show" agreement. Where they get paid at the show they perform at.

While Rock may be a "WWE boy" Never assume he won't show up in TNA. Again, look at Angle. Oh and btw, it probably saved his life that he went there too.

darthtempyst Mar 7, 2007 07:08 PM

Rock would only come back as to accept his WWE Hall of Fame award. Now Jericho would probably breathe some more life back into WWE now, but he's too busy w/ Fozzy and some acting here and there.

I guess you really appreciate people when they're away for awhile.....

Yea but no excuse this time =P I'm just late as hell on it. Obviously Vince offered that guy a lot of money. And on The Rock going TNA if ever, I doubt that too, and I didn't know he was merried to the VP of a company that handles retirement benefits. Anyhow knowing the Rock being a high profile athlete, why would he want to go to a low profile(assuming this would be his view)show?

Now it'd make Vince shit his pants if the Rock did do that and no doubt TNA would be the "new" WCW.

...And Nick Bockwinkles AWA title looks like the state of Georgia is in the middle plate.

Fixed.

mortis Mar 8, 2007 09:32 AM

Jericho will probably come back, but on a short-time basis most likely. Actually, he does play mind games with Vince with his website. And everyone else too.

Rock in TNA? It's unlikely, but hey, anything can happen.

What about Hogan in TNA? Wouldn't that be...<fill in your favorite descriptive word[s]>?

Winter Storm Mar 10, 2007 12:37 PM

The contract signing is going to be explosive. Too bad it's another RAW I'm going to miss. Dammit. So far WM23 is shaping up to be a slobberknocker(I could not resist after the phrase shaping up come to mind). Seriously though this one is gonna be one to remember. Cena/Michaels, Batista/Taker, Lashley/UUUUUUUUMAAAAAGA.

SuperSonic Mar 12, 2007 08:52 PM

From tonight's Raw, a special guest appearance:

Spoiler:
Holy crap, it's the Rock! Okay well, maybe not a public appearance but on the Titantron. :D Unbelievable.

At first I thought it was a promo or something for a new wrestler. He hid his voice very well until the

part. I was like "OMFG no way!" Oh how I missed that smack talk. Of course I dunno if this is a one time thing or if he's actually thinking of coming back from time to time (since he has a few movies trying to come out) or what the deal is. Also did you notice that he had a bit of a limp?

Renee Dupree is probably gone. He's been suspended for violating the wellness program, right after La Resistance was reformed. There's talk that he's probably over and done with and Sylvain is back on Smackdown as the Ambassador to Quebec angle.

Slash Mar 13, 2007 01:48 PM

I think he had some kind of surgery...I remember that he got injured during the filming of Gridiron gang...if i remember right

I wished I would have seen that, I'll find a video of it. But he's probably just doing early promo for his next movie, since he realizes that his movies do a lot better when he is in WWE. So maybe he with come around a few more times before his next movie comes out to promo it, then as soon as it is released, he is gone for the next year or 2, until his next movie. Can't say I blame him, though.

Winter Storm Mar 13, 2007 05:06 PM

I was off yesterday and even went to bed early so I can catch ontime, but..

WTF @ sleeping 10 fucking hours >:/. So I missed it D:. No telling when I'll get another monday off -______-.

Anyway there can't be Austin without the Rock lurking nearby =P. While I doubt the Rock will come back to the ring, atleast, unlike Austin, he will always have the option to return since he has no physical problems holding him back.

Slash Mar 13, 2007 07:29 PM

If you want a video, go to WWE.com

mortis Mar 15, 2007 03:33 AM

Okay...so maybe three years? Hey, I was right...give or take a couple of years...

Winter Storm Mar 16, 2007 07:07 AM

I predict the match of billionaires is going to be scripted out for Vince to lose because him being bald would gain a huge spike in ratings.

mortis Mar 16, 2007 08:49 AM

Who knows? Maybe it will be the emergence of Stone Cold Vince McMahon?! Ha ha...?

Mr.Ramen Mar 16, 2007 10:04 AM

Alex Shelley got more promo time on Impact, and Konnan, as well. Christian is the best champion TNA has had since they came to Spike TV, maybe ever.

dagget Mar 16, 2007 10:17 AM

Well since it's April 1st, I imagine a few ways it could end:

Umaga does all that stuff to Lashley, Somoan spike, etc.. Stone Cold goes for the count 1..2... finger "April Fool's Vince" or Vince actually wins and he shaves Donald Trump's head and is celebrating and Stone Cold is like "Hey Vince, April Fool's" ::stunner:: and Vince goes bald too.

Either way you slice it, I think Vince is going to be bald one way or the other.

Crash "Long-Winded Wrong Answer" Landon Mar 16, 2007 01:33 PM

I went to WWE.com last night and noticed that Vito's picture is no longer in the Smackdown roster.

When did he get canned? I wasn't crazy about the cross-dresser angle, but I liked Vito otherwise. The crowds always seemed to be into his matches even though Vince never gave him the push he probably deserved.

Think he'll show up in TNA again?

Tidsu Mar 16, 2007 01:40 PM

hmm most likely Crash it's where most unused WWE superstars go to i still am in shock cause stone cold is back and i hope vince gets his head shaved bold as that would make hilarious TV

Vito's currently in DSW since creative 'doesn't have anything for him', I think I heard about him being injured too. There's 'No Chance In Hell' that Trump is going to be shaved at WM and you better believe that at the first sign of a swerve he's going to be out of the arena and on the phone to his lawyers.

Erisu Kimu Mar 19, 2007 06:03 PM

Yeah, Vito was also the DSW World Champion. I liked him in WCW when he was one half of the Mamalukes and won the World Tag Team titles. That was a good time for him and Johnny the Bull.

Will John Cena EVER lose his belt? Or is he just so damn unstoppable (storylines) that there's no one that can defeat him without assistance?
