Yes but only 10 of those 42 squares are actually a threat (I added the elementals) so after the first three rounds everyone is effectively just playing Snakes and Ladders.

you could always have just deleted yours. My way meant you guys weren't rolling dice for you life next turn. Plus i'm not worried about GFZ - he's got Swiftcurrent to move him, and depending on how nice Pang feels his boots should make this encounter a cakewalk.

Right, so: Level 8. Everybody gets +1 to two ability scores of their choice, and one feat. ALSO RETRAINING I am always forgetting to mention the retraining. If something's not working for you, swap it out! Go crazy.
As was established a while back the offline character builder which we've been using is no longer being updated by WotC. It will still WORK (provided none of you uninstalled it in the meantime), so if you're not concerned about getting the latest options you can just pick your level-up feat from that. Alternately, if you do want to look at new stuff (basically anything produced since October) I can PM you the login for my DDI account and you can use the online builder which I've already imported all your characters into. It's just one feat but I don't want to deny you guys options. There is an unofficial third-party workaround with updates for the offline builder but it's kind of a nuisance and not really worth the trouble just to select one feat. Probably gonna switch to it next time we see a new PC though since it allows you to fold third-party stuff into the CB. Corgi! In the builder! The future is |

Edit: If I bump up my strength to 22 I get an extra +1, right? Given Beefi's one-trick-pony-ness I'll probably bump up strength anyway, along with constitution so he can ignore hits more often. |

I don't remember offhand what my new feat was I wanting, but I wanna retrain Toughness to Extra Manifestation: Windsoul. I will also double Shin's request to look around, decide my feat.
Just nobody change my manifestation until I'm in control again. Whee new personality fun. |
Wheeee, leveling! We should do this more often.
Glenn boosted Dexterity and Strength, reaching the next threshold for ability modifiers for both. Took Winterkin Heritage as a feat - gives 5 + half level cold resistance and a new encounter power for getting out of trouble. Just in case Glenn wasn't good enough at that already. Also retrained Snap Shot away for Cloud of Steel. I already changed everything on the OP character sheet, just need to fix the powers page, but that'll happen sooner or later. |
I put my points into CON and DEX, got the Snake Blooded feat, and retrained Guardian Harrier for Thorn Cloud Shot, and Stag's Grace for Scrambling Climb.

Ok, I'll add some strength and constitution and the Hide Armour expertise feat, although it was tough to choose between that, durable to make him even more unkillable or axe weapon focus and powerful charge because he doesn't do nearly enough damage already.
Edit: In fact, I'm going to retrain Opportunity Gore to Weapon focus Axe. |
If I swap out one my level 4 feat for chainmail proficiency will I need to wait til the next time I level to retrain my current chain proficiency to scale or can we assume an upwards cascading effect? If so I'm switching to this.

All right, I'm still slowly applying everyone's level up changes to Obsidian Portal and waiting on wvlf's decision for a new feat, but you guys can go ahead and continue play. Provided you don't do something that requires wvlf's immediate input, I suppose.
Edit: Those changes are fine Cette, so far as I'm concerned retraining can be treated more or less like a respec in Diablo or something; change anything you want about your guy except his name/race/class. Edit 2: Wealthy adds +2 to History, not Intimidate! |
I'm really just lurking right now. Can't get to a computer where the character builder works, so just move me around until Wednesday or so. I do want points toward int and con, I just need to check feats.
