Fox: 1.17 k/d, 59% games won.
Shake: 1.26 k/d, 77% games won.

And I've played more games.

Trueskill works in mysterious ways indeed. Then again my k/d for last season was 1.09 (61% won, no real difference there) and I think my Season 1 k/d was around 1.06, so in its eyes I'm definitely improving bit by bit.

If you're donging on people in Bronze/Silver then you definitely need to be playing Gold/Onyx type folks. I have no idea what's up with that.

Man I'm only halfway to Brigadier. I think when I hit it I'll retire and go down in the history books as the greatest Brigadier ever in Halo 3 AND Reach. Heh.

Super lulz. By the way if any of you get the chance, when you see Shake about to get a double kill run up and steal them as fast as you can. I have never seen him so angry in my life, it was fucking hilarious. He tried to yell at me but no words came out. It was like "Fox you ARRRGhghgohghghgffff" and I laughed for about ten minutes straight. I swear I'm not always doing it on purpose. I have this kind of tunnel vision when I start playing really impulsively (read: 90% of the time I'm playing) where I shoot everything I see on sight regardless of who is around or what is happening.

That is an accurate youtube, however. And that was only the first of three evils you visited me during those few games. There were two very dubious grenade betrayals in back to back games not long after.

Today, though, I fired a grenade launcher at an oncoming warthog on Spire and took out the driver, after which the EMP'd hog swerved through Efeman standing just next to me, killing him instantly. I, of course, stepped neatly aside. It was a thing of beauty.

Not really; literally the only Armory piece that is left that I would want to buy is the crazy scuba attachment for my robocop helmet, which requires me to be fucking mythic rank. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see a good Weekly that's actually worth a lot, but I have no particular drive to rank up or earn cR anymore. That said, I will still totally do the Challenge, but I'll have to be careful as to when I unlock it, as 16k is a lot and as far as I know Challenges still count towards the 60k. Assuming I do all 4 every day, that 4th day I'll have cR from the 4 Daily Challenges as well as games played that day (I average over 2k a game now at my rank). Really, really wish Challenges didn't count towards the Daily cR cap :/. I may just hit 15 then wait until the next day and earn the last Challenge straight-away or something.

Also yeah, population on this game seems to have taken a divebomb after Black Cops came out, it's actually taking me a full 5 minutes to get into a Multi-team or SWAT match, and I gave up after about 5 minutes of trying to get into BTB. I'm sure the map pack will bring people back, but I don't remember Halo 3 being anywhere near this desolate after MW came out, damn.

Been playing Multiteam for a while now, these are all really bad signs that the population is really, really low:

-Still taking 5+ minutes to find a match
-My goddamn teammate almost always quits before the match even starts
-Keep getting matched against almost exactly the same people, half of which are utter garbage, and the other half keep completely pounding my shit in
-Tons of migrations issues

I've literally been trying to get the 20 assists in Multiplayer for over an hour now, and doing nothing but Multiteam I'm STILL only at fucking 14/20 because my teammate keeps quitting, and I keep running into the same motherfuckers who kick my ass. This is fucking miserable.

Black Ops has been patched and is still Call of Lobby to some extent, but it's much better; I don't expect any real numbers returning to Halo until the map pack.

I am new to this forum and just want to say hello to all the members. I am just curious to know about your favorite mission in Halo: Reach. My most favorite mission is Nightfall, because of the sniping and sneaking up on them to perform assassination moves. It is also good for some commendations like precision weapons, head-shots and small arms. Looking forward to hear from you.

I rather like Oni Sword Base myself. Some nice vehicular combat sections and the later parts lets you tackle objectives in your own order.

I brought down a Banshee in the beginning of Tip of the Spear with one that splattered me off the map. People use them in invasion from time to time but other than that there aren't many pro-pipe anti air opportunities.

Oh shit, of the guy I played with and the truck? I'll try to remember to pull those the next time I'm on, hopefully they're still in my recent history (they may not be).

Whatever motivation I had to play this game is largely gone. I couldn't even bring myself to do the 50 multiplayer kills one today, which is super easy. There's no further unlocks I really care about, and while the Arena/TS maps and playlists seem to be pretty solid, Invasion and BTB still kinda suck for reasons we've all covered in detail. And all I'm seeing at other forums are people feeling the same way, and the people who are still playing still continue to bitch incessantly about Armor Lock and/or reticule bloom. I'm hoping the DLC ropes me back in a bit, but at this point pretty much everyone is playing Black Cops now (Shimms and Wedge both play that now as well, so you and Shake are the only real holdouts on Halo). I'm also having almost constant issues even trying to get matches going now; I was thinking about getting the 50 kills today, but after 5 minutes it literally could not get a full lobby together, and I've had that experience almost every time I've tried to play matchmaking in the last week or so. When I can't get a game on a Sunday afternoon of Halo, that's baaaaaad. Assuming their shit is accurate, it claimed there was 146k players, and then I hopped on Black Ops and there was over a million -_-.

Try to remind me about the videos though, otherwise I will probably forget.

Man I can't believe you're still getting on solo just to do the challenges. Sorry to hear you're not interested anymore or whatever but I mainly still get on (when I'm not doing Arena stuff) to play with Shake and the Euro crew, most of whom are on while you're at work which is probably why you miss out on a lot of the fun. We had a riot dicking around in BTB and whatnot the other night. If the DLC doesn't manage to get a whole lot of people re-interested it's no skin off my back. I'll continue to play because I love the game for what it is.

Black Ops is nice, but I've made my stance on it being MW2 with a patch clear elsewhere. It'll get old quite fast, though I'll probably stick with it because I love playing with my old Gears crew (oh and you guys are fun to play with too I guess).

Anyway, I don't have any problems getting games, much prefer Arena/TS/TO to the bigger stuff, don't mind AL, quite like reticle bloom, never really cared for unlocks, and have plenty of friends who still play this, so I can see it holding out as the game I play most for a long time into the future. I do miss the gamingforce people, though; 'I devolution I' and Binladenfox are the only ones I ever see on now.
