Alright I'm updating it now! I had some issues getting it to work properly in Vista. Pretty much had to set compatibility to XP service pack 2 and had to run the program as administrator. Hopefully the actual game will run ok though...

Heya guys, been reading through this topic, and since you guys mentioned that it can be downloaded, I figured I'd give it a shot. I just started up a character, not even through all the tutorials yet... Probably going to go Hunter, though I may make a second char to be Force if we can play together and such. Nothing pisses me the fuck off more than my ISP disconnecting me near the end of a B Parum run (three times). Especially since a buddy of mine decided to help me level (tons of EXP :O~) on B so he killed mostly everything~ At least I got a level out of that (usually it takes a couple runs) making it a total of 10 levels since the event.

The only rare thing I have found that isn't Ebot/Resin/ect is Crea Sabers. And you all know how much those suck. XD

I'll be available but only at night on the Weekdays. Since, you know, I want to actually succeed in HS my Senior year. Plus I want to actually beat Persona 3, 12/24~

This is starting to get frustrating now. For some odd reason my game seems to crash at least twice a day during the dragon fight in the 1up cup. Seriously... what gives?

I thought that it might have been a firewall problem but that didn't fix it. However at one point today I had to reset my router and after that I managed to download the patchs so maybe that's what it was.

I work tommorrow but only from 2:30-8:00pm EST. I'll be able to play after that. I'm going to play alittle bit right now to get rid of some of the rust.

The game is quite laggy on my laptop. >_< It's playable though. I'll be on in about 3 - 4 hours from now when I get to work.

Dammit, as much as I wanna help and play with you all, Australia's suck ISP strikes again!

I need probably a few days or weeks to see about getting a 2nd ISP or a new one. My boyfriend will be playing my character for me to get the 10 point reward and such. I may come on only to play with each mission once for the fun of it, but for the most part, I will probably gonna miss most of the event.

And its all Australia's fault.

I'll try and meet up with everyone coming back or new once this is all over. In the meantime, maybe try contacting Lukage on the PC servers?

To give you an idea of whats to come in B rank missions: Vahras give 218xp, Ragnus is somewhere around 4.5k. The total xp is around 20-21k.

Called the new ISP, will take 5 days max to get things up and running. Modem will arrive in 1-2 days.

Hopefully I won't miss too much, and all the missions will return in the last week anyways...

It also gives 15,200 meseta and 152 mission points just for S ranking (A rank isn't bad either with ~100) so you can expect to be level 10 hunter after 6-7 times beating it. The money is not counting what you'll get by doing the Bonus Missions (just ask if you can pick up the B-Rank weapons. I find that people don't tend to use the weapons since they either have better ones or don't use them. Hey, that's almost 2000 a pop just to sell them~

The 1up cup is definitely a great time for ANY newbie to start the game since the rewards are so great. Took me a week of casual play to get from level 20-21 and it just took me about 6 hours of 1up to get me from 24-31~

EDIT: If you're really worried, just ask whomever you group up with if you can 'tag' the monsters. If you get a group of people just having fun (not any of those OMFG WE DID NOT GET 10PTS WTFFFF *SOB*) they'll probably let you join as long as you don't die that much. It is pretty easy to s-rank once you know what you're doing, all you need is two people so the other 2 are basically fluff and are to beat the mission faster (beat it in 15 minutes with just me, lvl 31, and a level 50, with an S rank).

Thanks to some help from Ozzie and a few runs with Lukage, I went from 8 to almost 15, Hunter 1-6, and from 1k Meseta to 48k. Was definitely a good night~

Getting 10 points again and again, I might add. Hell, I even went from 46 to 48.

I missed my shot at going on yesterday due to last minute chores I had to take care of. >_< Anyone gonna be on today? If so lemme know when.

I got suckered into working tonight because nobody else could (including the person who is responsible for the shift), so either I work or I'm fired. I won't be on long tonight, gotta work tomorrow morning. :(
