We're doing a Friday night "alt" run, where my warrior is the MT. Had our first run with 3/4ths people being new this past Friday, where we 1-shotted Lucifron and got Mag to 40% before calling it.

Alliance is pretty much OoC on Sentinels, wheras Horde is IC. I play both sides, and don't feel like playing PvE anymore, so~ which server?

I wouldn't go on one of those. The assholes of PVP servers mixed in with them being in character.

I got lots of stories about playing in BG's with latency. :D Fun, fun, fun~ bring the family, ignore the objectives and farm HKs. I don't get it. Every time on Alliance, the two BG's I've been able to access have boiled down to this within a minute...
Warsong Gulch: a decent plan where six or seven people stay on def, three or four on off. Someone on def'll get itchy and go midfield. Other people'll follow. FC will die, or def will die because itchy people are always melee classes.
Arathi Baisin: total shit plan. Soemthing about the BS being top priority, serious business, everyone being there, and not bothering with anything else. Horde claims it, 'FUCK!1111 LETS GO 2 LM' 'inc lm' 'can i get blessing of kings plz :)' 'You don't need it, you're a hunter.' 'SHUT UP WARLOCK'. We end up holding down the stables, my group's usually the one being bitched out...sometimes they don't even bother with a strategy, sometimes they're like, 'we'll get more honor by HKs! Have at 'em boys!'. I DESU spam the yell channel.

I like PVP cause I can actually fuck with people outside and inside BGs.

I got from being 3/8 t2 for 2 months then got to 5/8 w/in 20 mins tonight. LAWL.

I was stuck at 7/8 T2 forever, never could get the gloves to drop...but last night picked up 4/5 of my AQ set...4 Deathdealer, just need C'thun now to finish it off. I was also lucky enough to pick up my T3 bracers this week so im actually sitting on some pretty decent gear...with more weapons then I know what to do with. Currently using Ancient Qiraji Ripper and Iblis...works great...owning the hell out of the dagger guys we have.

omg. Tonight was the first night Earthfury didn't drop AT ALL in MC. We get to Domo pretty quick for our group (4 and a half hours) and Domo stalls us out on 3 different tries. Get him on the third try. Chest had some Sash. and the Hunter Leaf. Also was Finkle's Lava Dredger. Fucking A man, I won that shit. ./flex

Finkle's Lava Dredger? Man, that is excellent, especially if you're enhancement looking for some gear to flesh out your mana pool.

EDIT: Weeell... le sigh. Leadership changing hands in BOTH alliances teaming up to run MC + people joining raiding guilds (and being told that they can't raid with the alliances) + a grand total of 12 sign-ups for MC = dead run. :(

Sounds like a cop out from some of the officers in the other guild to me. Reminds me of when I'd see people have joint runs and then when both (or more) guilds work so hard to get to Rag, that one guild decides to drop everyone and take over the runs for their guild at that point.

You could always transfer to T-Horn and join my guild. :P

What is crit strike rating and this resilience rating? Are they changing a lot?

they're changing the battle system kinda. PvE and PvP will be much more the same....all endurance fighting. Instead of crit % you get a crit rating, and instead resilience is your resistance to crits. This change is probably because of the new pvp stuff...arena team deathmatch.....the way things are now with burst damage they would only likes like 30 seconds each. Lol, 20 sec of loading for 30 sec of fighting. Makes me kinda happy since it'll force classes to use a full range of abilities in every fight. And sheesh...my lock walking around with 7.5k hp. Scary.

I'd laugh if they made a 60s only MC and a 70 only MC. That way you don't need only about 20-30 70s to rape MC.

Well there are rumors to make some of the previous instances to be able to be upped to level 70 difficulty (at leisure of the raid leader). This inturn would make a better loot drop. *shrug*

Won't be any skin off my back. ALthough I'd love to run those "OMG CAN U PLZ RUN ME THRU VC" or now the personal favorite for people to ask me, Scarlet Monestary. "SURE OK LOL!" I'll set it to level 70 difficulty and then when they aggro VC from the beginning of the instance and everyone wipes. I'll sit back and laugh.

But hell d00d, I'm sure some guilds do rape MC with 20-30 people now. :\ It'll be like a 5-man instance for them at 70. :tpg:
