One more question, do i need to downgrade to 1.50 first?

im fucked up right now but.../p

1. Eboots - 3.52 and 1.50 .

2. Yea , you need to downgrade first to 1.50 but you still need the 1.50 eboot no matter what. Put those two in the M33 CREATOR folder and don't forget to rename them to 150.pbp and 352.pbp.

LS Aug 26, 2007 01:24 AM

Made it work, amazing!

Although i notice some slowdowns on XMB, but it doesnt matter! as long as suikoden 2 is plays all the way to the end its fine.

Cat9 Aug 31, 2007 08:44 AM

Can anyone tell me if I must go back to 1.50 if i want to upgrade from an SE/OE to the latest M33 update?

You don't need to. You can if you want to, or you can install new CFW from an existing CFW.

chato Aug 31, 2007 03:52 PM

Yeah I did this for a friend who had Dark Alex's 3.02 OE and it worked. So there shouldn't be a problem.

^-^ Aug 31, 2007 05:56 PM

I was talking to a few in the channel, and they told me to try that Downgrader/Upgrader program that was out.

It makes it so easy! and stuff. I recommend it.

well i have a problem to play 2 games via usb... but first I use the custom firmware 3.40OE.

Dj max portable 2 and monster hunter freedom are the 2 games that I can't launch via usb.

what I don't understand is that I can play without a problem the games ace combat X and MGSPO.

what seem to happen is when I launch the iso like I do with othr iso via usb. me psp seem to disconnect from my computer and then I get the message: the game could not be started (800200D9) ...

is there some known error with those 2 games? because i tried all iso that I had and only those 2 games won't launch. Should I try the 3.52 M33 Custom Firmware? will it change anything?

oh and before you say so yes I know I should play them directly from memory stick, but I only have a 1gb stick, so till i get a bigger one I,m stuck with usb (which where working fine before that...)

Additional Spam:
I forgot to say that i'm using psphost for this... maybe there's a better way to play games via usb?

LS Sep 8, 2007 03:08 AM

This isn't the best thing to say, but please buy a memory stick instead, i could link you to a great place where they sell original memory sticks, cheap and fast too.

Rock Sep 8, 2007 06:50 AM

OK, so I'm finally thinking about joining the M33 communists (mainly for the awesome No-UMD ISO Loader), but the alleged slowdown in the XMB is holding me off. I don't know what's causing the XMB on M33 to be so slow, but I know people who have gone back to 3.40 OE-A because of this. Is it really as bad as some people make it sound?

HELLO THREAD! I have many questions, questions for you! Has anyone played Guilty Gear Judgement? Is the side scrolling beat 'em up part worthy? I don't really care about the fact that it also includes a port of GGX2 since I've played it three bajillion times already. I dunno, sort of seems like a good beat 'em up, but reviews never seem to go into much detail other than 'HUR HUR it's like Double Dragon! Remember Double Dragon?!'

I'm planning on trading in some rubbish at the tip and picking up a Slim PSP next week. I was going to get the white one but apparently that's no longer a launch option. So I guess I'll go with silver. Can games saves be saved on the internal memory, or is a memory stick essential? (I'll get one of those anyway but but but). Does anyone know if it comes with a demo disc of any sort? Are dead pixels still a big problem? Why is my cola flat already? Is there a Sega CD emulator? Because I guess I'm eventually going to custom firmware the joint up. Road Avenger in my pocket would be the sexiest thing ever.

I have my eyes set on Tales of Eternia, Gurumin, Namco Museum Battle Collection, Ace Combat X if it ever drops in price, LocoRoco, Megaman Powered Up, the Star Ocean games and holy shit I don't have that kind of money. >=( I'll just stick with my Taito games for a few months.

Yes. No.

Yes.

No. Yes. Be sure to get at least a 2GB one, or else you won't get the MAXIMUM excitement OUT of YOUR PSP.

Mine did, but that was a few years back. It was pretty amazing, since it had all sorts of movie trailers, music videos and demos on it.

Dead pixels aren't that big. But they're still a problem, I guess. I just walked into a random store and had them unpack a unit for me. They even plugged it in and let me mess around with it for a few minutes. The first I tried had three dead pixels right in the middle of the screen, the second was flawless, so I bought it.

Are you drinking from the bottle or a can? A lot of people mistakenly put the bottle cap back on after they take a sip, which is not a good idea, because :science:, etc.

I bet there is one being worked at right at this very moment in the basement of a Taiwanese brothel. Good luck, Mr. Wang!

Infernal Monkey Sep 8, 2007 07:52 AM

Thanks for the answers, Mr.! I shall sit by the phone for the fateful day a Sega CD emulator arrives! Also it was a bottle, I've failed you bottle, I've faiiilled yoooou.

Rock Sep 8, 2007 08:10 AM

Looky here, I've found Mr. Wang! I didn't know Taiwanese brothels had their own forums ...

SouthJag Sep 8, 2007 08:50 AM

Infernal, if you guy the new silver PSP, you don't get any demo discs. However! You get a full version copy of Daxter, the Family Guy Freakin' Sweet collection and a 1GB memory stick.

Still lolin' at your post.

Infernal Monkey Sep 8, 2007 10:16 AM

Actually I don't think we get that bundle over here, just the system by itself. =o But maybe they'll chuck something in if I annoy them enough. "HERE'S A FREE PUNCH TO THE FACE" "Hey thanks!"

Oh Mr. Wang! <3

The system doesn't come with any demo discs, however you can download the demos for free straight to your memory stick from official PSP site. The Japanese and Eurpoean PSP sites also has several more game demos available, and they all will work on any PSP since the system is region free.

As far as memory cards go, 4GBs are pretty reasonably priced now, or at least around here. For just saving games and demos, pretty much anything 256mb and up will work, if you want video/music/eventual homebrew/etc. then a 4GB stick is recommended.

Also, if you're interested in Megaman Powered Up, definitely give Maverick Hunter X a look.

LS Sep 9, 2007 06:28 PM

I bought my last memory stick here Superufo.com - The biggest video game and pc computer wholesaler, distributor, on-line store in Asia
If i were you, i'd buy a sandisk instead of the official sony ones.

Inhert Sep 9, 2007 09:11 PM

and why scandisk? is here something they do better ?

Cheaper, I reckon.

Solis Sep 10, 2007 12:54 AM

Sandisk (not scandisk, btw) have the fastest read/write speeds, and for the most part seem the most reliable. Lexar sticks apparantly used to be very bad but have now improved substantially it seems, and are closer to the Sandisk ones. Sony sticks are fine, but take longer to transfer stuff (and if loading games or demos from the memory stick, will increase loading times).

Just avoid Ebay when shopping for memory sticks: a VAST majority are fake sticks which usually run extremely slow and eventually will flat-out fail after a while.

LS Sep 10, 2007 03:32 AM

And my 4 gig sandisk stick works perfectly, Nothing wrong with it so far, But yes avoid ebay.

Inhert Sep 10, 2007 06:27 AM

ok thanks guy i'll probably go for the sandisk then ^^

and yes I'll avoid ebay, my 1gb is a fake one and I'm still impress to see that it's still working after 2 or 3 years that I owned it >.>
