We could do a small party. Group of 3. 4 is the norm, and I don't see us having that much trouble grouping up for that. All we would have to do is figure out WHEN we want to play. And if we have people who don't show up, I don't see why we couldn't have alternate characters for random skirmishes, in which we could include people who don't want to play on a regular basis.
Srsly, let's do this. |
If we could do it on the same night, week in and week out, I could do it.
Also: Ani, you roll 2d6, not just do my sneak attack damage from the last attack. |
Oh, neato. Rollin'!
Edit: FFFFFfffffff Another Edit: Oops, didn't see wvlf had already killed those. Fortunately it didn't make a big difference. I probably thought he missed due to entire post being tiny text and "I MISSED DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT" being all caps. Also, if the little red squiggly icon is the mummies' Final Curse, I think mine ended up on Slim by mistake. |

Also, is there any way to remove a curse, other than just spending a surge and riding it out? |
Sorry about that, Pang. Was going off of memory on those powers, since Obsidian wasn't loading for me at the time.
Also I will be second chancing that damage strike from skeletor. |
... Hey Pang... I moved.
|
Right, last post and map adjusted for the fact that wvlf moved and Deni Second Chanced (as well as the incorrect curse icon). And no, nothing to do about the curse but ride it out.
Cette, Shin, you might want to check that your turns are compatible with the adjusted map. |
Nope it's all good, I can still reach the mummy without getting slashed at and a 1 is still a miss. The flavour text was to assume I was going to hit it and kill it, I was going to swift charge follow up on the Skeleton. Thought it might be a nice way to finish up the minions but alas, the dice had other plans.
|
Can we get defenses for the silver trap chest? Assuming its got them anyway.
|
Well, it's a trap, not a monster, so it hasn't got defenses per se. DC 30 Thievery to disarm, though.
|
What effect does kabooming into the trap have on both skeleton and chest, Pang?

If it counts as a trap rather than a monster, does that mean I can't use Curtain of Steel on it when it attacks me?
|
The Skeleton got knocked into the trap. Is that going to disarm it, knock the skeleton prone, set off the trap etc?
|
Oh. That's a reasonable question. But none of the above, no. Just the standard smashed-into-an-immovable-object damage bonus.

Given that Sam is the only party member who could disarm it on anything other than a natural 20 (And even then he's only got a 25% chance) if I'm reading the character sheets right, smashing it up might easily become our only option.
|
On that general note what's the AC of the trap for smashing related purposes?
|
It's an inanimate object; it doesn't have an AC. You swing at it and you hit it, same as a door or a statue or something.
|
How am I bloodied? I've pretty much 2nd chanced and dodged my way out of most everything so far, no?
|
I'm having rotten luck trying to hit this fucker. He really should be dead by now (More dead, properly dead, dead again). Is that bat thing something you can move? At least it should be easier to set up a flank with the big ugly boxed in the corner as he is.
Edit: Actually Pang, you rolled a 10 for Beefi's AoO. His MBA is +12 so against an AC of 22 that's a hit isn't it? Or do you not roll against AC for AoO? I've never had to roll my own dice for that. It's another D12+7 damage for the Skeleton if it was a hit. |
I should have teleported to the Skeleton's side, if I'm not mistaken. The scimitars hit Beefi, therefore I get aegis attack.
