Titanboo's +2 control compensates for his +2 power, so I see it as a way to boost power without having to actually sacrifice any other stats. If your power is already satisfactory, then Brie's probably the way to go.

Both of them are Senior only though, so it'll be a while before I can even bother thinking about getting them. ;(

TheKnightOfNee Sep 12, 2006 08:52 PM

Oh crap, senior only? dwojfoijgo I need to stop playing just tournaments.

Aoi Knight Sep 14, 2006 02:02 AM

What time are most of the GFF member on Albatross18? I might see ya in the game when I happen to be playing at the same time.

Sakabadger Sep 14, 2006 06:46 AM

So Arin is now currently cookie-purchasable at a price of 204 cookies. This includes Arin, the Aqua Sorceress Dress, and the Aqua Jinx shoes. What sux is that it doesn't include the gloves and THE HAT, which add another 113 cookies to the cost.

Sux!

sup.

Spent 20bux getting that and the maid headband (ABOUT FREAKING TIME) for Kooh. Used my 32k pang from purchasing Arin (since I already had her) to fully upgrade my afterburners ~

Aoi Knight Sep 14, 2006 12:02 PM

Yea, I'm finally hype about the cookie set now. At last, I can get my 32k pang back!

I just need to get both her hat and glove in order to have the complate set. But as you can see in the screenshot, I ran out of cookies and I'm running late for work as I type this...

I'll get them after work.

Taco Sep 19, 2006 05:06 PM

I want Arin's hair dye and her black dress set in. Then I'll be forced to blow MORE money on cookies.

Lacerta Sep 19, 2006 10:31 PM

Assuming nothing goes terribly horribly wrong, this week's update is not a content update but a double pang weekend.

Here's hoping it goes fine~

Taco Sep 20, 2006 05:54 PM

I won my first tournament today holycrap. Either people really sucked or I was doing exceptionally well. Probably the former.

Not only was it my first 1st place victory, it was my first trophy. I'm psyched :D

Grawl Sep 21, 2006 10:59 AM

Today I was playing against a 'Rookie F', who was playing his very first match. He had no problems pulling of a Tomahawk Backspin, hitting Pangya almost every shot and adjusting the shot to the wind.

At the very last hole he did another TH BS, but missed the hole. He probably thought he could win (and so did I), until...

Sakabadger Sep 21, 2006 04:54 PM

Nice shot! (lol)

I think my longest chip in has only been like 60-something yards. Still no albas or HIOs either (came within 0.22y though) ;_;

Grawl Sep 21, 2006 05:07 PM

The only HIO I did was during a tournament, so no one saw me make it =(

Ain't no thang.

Those type of chip-ins are quite rare since it's hard to measure for a non-tomahawk non-powerspin chip.

Most of those non PS/Toma/cobra chips are quite awesome to watch. Nice job.

Sakabadger Sep 26, 2006 02:35 AM

This is the best shot I've ever made and probably will ever make (at least for a while to come):

I was too surprised to really screencap nicely. Oh well!

Lacerta Sep 26, 2006 02:44 AM

Ya don't worry I screencapped it for you

That's pretty awesome for your first HIO I must say, especially on something as dastardly as White Wiz 9.

(The wind was 1m, incase anyone cared).

Animechanic Sep 26, 2006 03:12 AM

Man, I wish I could play so much! :(

Awesome shots you guys. I've never gotten anything really amazing. I guess my greatest achievement was a 40.69 yd putt, which I know isn't that amazing because I've seen people with 45 yd putts.

Taco Sep 26, 2006 08:49 PM

This is becoming the "lol look at our HIOs" topic.

Allow me to contribute XD

Lacerta Sep 27, 2006 04:07 AM

h8 u for it :(

Anyway, wow the week sure blazes by fast, eh? Thursday is already coming up which means update week, and word on the street (and on MySpace Insider) is that this week's update is none other than West Wiz, the "holy crap I can't believe it's so easy" version of Wiz Wiz.

There will probably be clothing updates for whoever hasn't gotten any clothes recently (Hana comes to mind)

Sakabadger Sep 28, 2006 04:10 AM

Updates for today:

Introduction of West Wiz (the notice image actually says Wiz Wiz though...)
New clothes for Bob (makes him look like a lumberjack/alpine climber)
New clothes for Max (who even cares)

and that's it.

/wrist

Also, this was depressing:

http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/9880/pangya013dj8.jpg

(it stayed like that for at least a minute... never went in)

TheKnightOfNee Sep 28, 2006 04:33 AM

I missed an albatross on hole 7 of Blue Lagoon with that same glitch. I did backspin, it stopped at .11 from the hole and just sat there for a minute. I was very disappointed.

The lack of Arin dyes makes me a sad panda ;_;

West Wiz is cool though.

Animechanic Sep 29, 2006 02:26 AM

Lumberjack clothes for Bob? I must give these serious consideration. It's not every day you have a perfectly sensible reason to shout "I'm a lumberjack and I'm ok!" in a video game.

Sakabadger Sep 29, 2006 03:45 AM

Well, not QUITE a lumberjack... but he's got the 'stache, anyway:
