I did an incredibly long test stream of Mario Kart 8 tonight to test out my Avermedia U3 device again. Finally got it working really really well.

After a very successful race CHz suddenly joins my session and crushes the competition from there on out.
I manage to do fairly well earning second place often enough to establish GFF supremecy.
Also briefly joining us are mini Hitler and Hank Hill. What fun!

This is as close as it gets to being able to ^5 in MK8.

So the story behind this, for everyone:

I left after we finished a race on Tick Tock Clock. Just hit the B button to back out, stayed in the online menu for a bit to check my W/L record against Acer, then backed out to the main menu and turned my console off.

My Mii, the blue guy with glasses who runs in on the left at 40:41, flies out to indicate I left the room, but then immediately runs back in from the right.

And then a CPU played as me in the next race, coming in last and losing me ranking points.

Get a load of that drunk-ass motherfucker trying to turn at 42:00. :(

I was laughing so hard at that CPU's drunk driving I fell off the mountain twice! ='D

Hey all. Quick heads up that I might not be involved with Mario Kart time today as there's Destiny beta shenanigans going on (they have a timed event taking place which clashes). We'll have to see, but if I'm not around for MK time then would someone else be willing to host the call and game? (This of course assumes others are up for playing)

I'll be around and host today, since I'm likely going to miss next week.

There's four hour window for Destiny, and all you have to do is log in, right?

EDIT: Oh, you're talking about the moon mission. That's 5-7pm pacific, which is 3 hours after Mario Kart usually starts.

Not according to the Bungie website, which says it'll be open for 2 hours under the section about what's on offer at 2pm PDT.

Haha, I felt a bit bad at the time (skip to 55 seconds in to see what I'm talking about here) but sort of didn't too. Either my subconscious did it or I just lost my grip of the L shoulder button while holding the green shell back after a while. I didn't mean to hit CHz and since I didn't mean to do it I'm not sorry that I let go and did. At the same time I may really really have meant to do it too. So...
