Louise. I don't mind it, although I never use it really. =\ It doesn't seem to come from anywhere in my family either, its just a random name that my mother decided to tag on!

Admiral Amara Apr 19, 2006 04:07 PM

Stephen. Not too bad, it works. Then there's the other one, Albert, which I chose back in CCD as my patron saint. They actually go alright between my first and last names, so they're alright.

Turbo Apr 19, 2006 04:18 PM

Mine is Adam, I never use it... Its just there. Do I like it? I guess?

Bernard Black Apr 19, 2006 04:44 PM

Eh, I don't care much for it. Jane. So mundane. And I know a lot of people who have the same middle name as me.

Taterdemalion Apr 19, 2006 05:12 PM

Mines is Matthew. I don't hate and I never use it, so it poses no real problem. Some people despise their middle names, but I don't understand why if the only place it's required is on official documents.

Ashley.

A girl's first name.

Seldom used.

TheRiceCooker Apr 20, 2006 06:29 AM

Paredes. Kinda reinforces the Spanish behind my filipino heritage. I'm also sure that I've got about 1/16 of Japanese in my bloodline, I think ^_^

also, way to not post your middle name there sian. psht.

haha SORRY. It's Jennifer, and I don't mind it at all. My Dad even calls me Jenny since he's the one who picked it for me.

SonicEchidna Apr 24, 2006 11:30 AM

John.

Very average if I may say so. But I'm not bothered, I like it.

Fireman Joe Apr 25, 2006 07:43 AM

William. I like it. Its my dad and grandpa's middle name too. Both them and my great grandpa all share the same first name, Donald.

I love how some people are so traumatized by their middle name that they won't even post it in a thread ABOUT MIDDLE NAMES.

nuttyturnip Apr 25, 2006 08:12 AM

Mine's Blake. I've always thought it was nifty, and have tried several times (unsuccessfully) to get people to call me by that name. Not that I hate my first name or anything, it's just that Blake is a little more unusual.

Arienas Apr 25, 2006 09:22 AM

I can't spell my middle name. Well, more like I can't remember which spelling. I never have my social security card with me to check either.

Alice Apr 25, 2006 09:23 AM

Are you serious? I used to make fun of my ex-husband relentlessly because he couldn't remember whether his first name was spelled "Jeffrey" or "Jeffery," and I had never heard anyone else say they couldn't remember how to spell their name.

Anyway, what is it?

Internet hackers and everything, they're going to get us all via our middle names. :(

My_Lo Apr 25, 2006 04:28 PM

No, mine is luc (my asshole brother's name)... if you reverse it: cul (ass in french) T_T

Koneko Apr 26, 2006 02:11 AM

My middle name is Marie. My mom has some philosphy for names that if your first name is long, the middle name is short and vice versa. 'Katherine Marie' (me) flows pretty well as compared to my mom's given name of 'Rebecca Narcissus' (like the flower). I think that's why she developed that belief.... Her maiden name was a mouthful.

Amanda Apr 26, 2006 11:46 AM

Erin.

I like my middle name much more than my first name, and I wish my parents had reversed them when they named me. Too many Amandas around, but I've only ever met one person named Erin.

josho Apr 26, 2006 12:31 PM

Mine is Paul.
I don't dislike it, but i'm also not greatly fond of it.
To be honest I forget that it's even there half the time.

Immortal Apr 26, 2006 01:05 PM

Thomas.

It's not a bad middle name, really. I don't see why I wouldn't like it.

Either Nichole, Nichol, or Nicole. I think it's the former.

OnlyJedi Apr 26, 2006 05:20 PM

My middle name is Andrew. I've never at all been embarrased by it, and I usually sign things using my middle initial. I think the whole embarrasement thing comes along because most parents only use it when their children get in trouble. So people would then associate their middle names with getting in trouble. Think about it; have you ever heard Lee Harvey Oswald or John Wilkes Boothe refered to *without* their middle names?

Aoi Satoshi Apr 26, 2006 06:41 PM

No, I highly dislike my Middle name.

If you must know it; it's "Daniel"… I just don't think it suits me. Sadly there's a disturbing reason behind it, too.

xuemin Apr 27, 2006 09:36 AM

i don't mind my middle name, i just get weird looks because it's my parents attempt to romanise my cantonese name only to fail miserably, extremely miserably:

what it should be in romanised cantonese: syut mun
what parents turned it into: sheer maine

yeah, my parent's english is pretty useless >.> and to think dad used to be in a reputable british university

The Wise Vivi Apr 28, 2006 09:55 AM

My middle name is from my father whom I have a lot of respect for. So I really don't mind my middle name at all.
