He's gotta.

Even giant scary monsters have modesty.

Zergrinch Mar 30, 2010 11:07 PM

Hmm, maybe when he's dead. Maybe.

Depending on the size of his package, Cal might just harvest it. FUCK GOTTA BOUNCE

You can try. I don't think you have the STR to handle this much man, though.

Oboyoboy, more augmenting whetstones. the size of pomelos!

Did Garr's OA hit... or? 16 + 10 = 26 > 22

The unmovable stubborn Apr 1, 2010 08:30 AM

Sonic is pretty much only for homos, always has been.

Sarag Apr 1, 2010 09:23 AM

I like to diss myself twice.

Zergrinch Apr 1, 2010 09:30 AM

First time I played May Payne was a downloaded copy that didn't have most of the voiceovers for the "graphic novel" interludes. I kind of preferred it that way.

The music is awesome, though.

Okay two things:

Zerg, how the fuck did you successfully post in the game yesterday with all that shit going on?

Zerg, why the fuck did you post in the game yesterday when it's Skills' turn?

Also I'm just going to repost the prank I made since I did put some work into it only to have the board steal it and bury it in some shitty anime thread so

Anyways I had an idea which will help speed things up a lot. 4th Edition has been a lot of fun, but at times it's just very clunky and really altogether overcomplicated — and it just gets more complicated at every level! Not to mention that 4E characters have so damned many HP, they're nearly impossible to kill!

But I know the solution.

Gentlemen, as of today we switch to Rules Cyclopedia Dungeons & Dragons, circa 1991. Now, while many of your particular races and classes are no longer valid, I think you'll adjust well to the conversion if you really give it a chance.

I've taken the liberty of converting your characters to this system as best I could, although, necessarily, some details were lost. Let me know if you have any questions about how your new abilities work!

1. One post in a testing thread to "prime" my post. Another post in Magnum Innominandum to activate it 25 seconds later! Well, it worked. Could've been derailed of course if someone happened to make a post in between.

CHz really thought of everything. I tried directly accessing the editpost.php link but it wouldn't allow me.

2. It's okay, it's not like I'm doing anything that would impact Skill's turn. 'Sides, everyone but Gordok posts in a bloc. ('Sides, I recall you saying months ago that you'd rather someone be early than late.

Anyway if you want me to post later and just ignore what I posted on April Fool's, I won't mind one single bit ;-)

Jurassic Park Chocolate Raptor Apr 2, 2010 02:19 PM

No, you're stuck with it now, boiiiiiiiii

Haha! This is completely true. Gordok's occupation is a mariner.

Quote:

Occupation - Mariner

It wasn't long before Gordok was recognized everywhere he went, usually by angry mobs. He only wanted to help his family, but unfortunately too many people knew his face. It was time to travel further afield. He stowed away aboard the next boat out of Assur, intent on a worldwide tour to bring back the greatest treasures of Toril to his people. One day Gordok found himself alone on the boat — the entire crew had gone out carousing in some port town or another (Gordok had lost his map some time before). Captaining a boat by yourself wasn't all that hard — all you had to do was cut the anchor and steer out to sea! The fact that a jagged spur of rock had come out of nowhere, wrecking his boat and depositing him on the Fang, he believed, was no reflection on his own quite-competent maritime abilities thank-you-very-much.

Zergrinch Apr 2, 2010 11:24 PM

Cal's a ranger, not a rogue ;___;

Though come to think about it, I might just consider Multiclass Rogue

The unmovable stubborn Apr 2, 2010 11:43 PM

what the fuck is a ranger get out of here with that bullshit, there's no rangers in D&D

just take a rank in Tracking if you survive to level 2

Whatta bunch of newbs, next thing you know somebody'll want to be a Paladin before reaching 9th level and swearing an oath of fealty

Play for serious

Zergrinch Apr 3, 2010 12:33 AM

Naw, he definitely won't survive with just a measly 3 HP. But at least there are orgies in this game!

No. Hard Pass. Apr 3, 2010 01:09 AM

Leave it up to Zerg to be a rulesmonger on a game no one has played in 30 years.

Leave.

Your.

Fucking.

House.

Zergrinch Apr 3, 2010 03:07 AM

The Sun! IT BURNS!

Jurassic Park Chocolate Raptor Apr 5, 2010 10:06 PM

Relevant to Acer's turn going sometime in the next thirty seven days, can I get some info on which squares are traversable underneath the awnings?

The unmovable stubborn Apr 5, 2010 10:28 PM

Oh god never using a map with three dimensions again ever

http://www.saxypunch.com/missile/lamidaccess.png

Accessible on ground floor

Accessible on balconies

Jurassic Park Chocolate Raptor Apr 5, 2010 10:43 PM

look

we can all waste a turn trying to climb the pillars and fail miserably, if you'd like

The unmovable stubborn Apr 5, 2010 10:53 PM

Nah frankly I don't give a damn about the pillars, I hadn't even factored them in as a consideration until Acer tried to climb them. Then Zerg gets involved and I have to spend time thinking about the goddamn architectural design of this half-assed prop I yanked off of RPGMapShare and tokens always insist on being the top layer and—

"Flooded theatre" seemed like a fun setpiece at the time

Additional Spam:
Not bitchin' at you guys for trying to use the terrain I gave you, just annoyed with myself

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Apr 6, 2010 06:50 AM

Did Acer make that last post himself and if so, is he now actively trying to kill Cal? We've seem some dissent in the ranks before but this is the first bit of active team-killing we've seen since Bob caught Argumentus in a fireburst during the fight against the spiders.

And we all know how that fight turned out.

The unmovable stubborn Apr 6, 2010 07:26 AM

Ok look I'm not going to say Zerg isn't fun to pick on but it's going to suck for Skex and Garr when their PCs die due to some people not pulling their weight. After 4 rounds Gordok has done more damage to himself and his allies than he has to the enemies.

Do I really have to make it a rule to not deliberately attack your own allies? Do people seriously have to be told that? Catching people in a burst when they're surrounded is one thing, but come the fuck on.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Apr 6, 2010 07:45 AM

If it means my turn to play again comes up before the Mayan calendar ticks over and the world ends, I'm all in favour of team-killing.
