The anime is giving me a great impression with Air Gear ep 6. I'll let B4-Hunter do the honors in posting the torrent.

It was Ikki vs the Skullsaders. Ikki won by using Buccha's signature move on the walls. Very impressive. Can't wait for ep 7.

Ikki joining Simca's team wont be that bad but I prefer Simca joining Ikki's Team. I get the feeling Ikki will make some crazy ass moves by combining his rivals',teammates' moves. At least thats what I think so far.

Mangas like these... Spoiler or not, its not THAT important but the action and fun of it what counts most. I dont expect much story out of it but its still on my good anime list.

Sorry, don't get me wrong I wasn't having a go at you about the spoilers, I just like to watch episodes from scratch. I'll probably avoid reading the manga though till the anime is done though.

I haven't seen the manga so I can't say anything about the different styles of drawing but I know its not incredible, but its passable and as someone said earlier, the direction they went with the music was fantastic. I'd even watch it just for the music and I like the way the story is going as well.

Yep... I just realized it was out like 16+ hours ago after I saw Chato's post about epi 6... it was awsome how Ikki masters other people's move fast.

My addiction to anime doesn't reach as far as manga. I find that for an action and fast-paced show such as this, the anime must have really been a bore to see still frames of things going really fast.

Yeah I'm just after episode 06 =) I checked and there will be only 13 episodes =( Shame that it will be so short. Can't wait for another. But yeah we will wait for it another 7 days.

Thats really disappointing if they're only intending 13 episodes. I could see them having trouble finishing this series in 26 episodes, let alone 13. Perhaps they're seeing how popular it becomes before committing to a full season.

Well it's not 100% sure if there will be only 13 episodes. Trick:13 will be in TV at 28.06.2006. There is not later informations about another episodes. Maybe there will be more but I can't say.

I highly doubt that. There usually is no second season for a 13-episode anime (in case it wasn't clearly announced the first season runs from X-Y and the second from A-B, priorly). Even if it was a 26-episode season, I don't see how they would bring the anime to end. The manga has 14 volumes and is still ongoing.

On an upside, this means we get the OST faster. Though I'd like to see exactly where it finishes up to, but I can't see him becoming the Wing/Sky/Whatever it is king in 13 episodes.

It took him 6 episodes to actually meet someone from clas A. He only won two part wars. It can't be true =(.

Exactly. He hasn't even raced a A class person yet and from what Simca was saying he's going to have to go up against a lot of different people. In 13/26 episodes? I can't see it happening. That said, I'd be just as happy to see the series stretch to two seasons as long as the music stays good, the story continues and the animation perhaps improve slightly. But hey, at least we don't have to worry about filler.

As to the manga, www.stoptazmo.com has it, I noticed when I was grabbing the new Prince of Tennis.

Manga > anime. The anime was so heavily watered down, it makes meh cry ;_; The manga is way better (details, uncensored, more to it) but I still love Agito/Akito in the anime =d And, despite the watered down...er..ness of the anime, I still can't see fitting all of it into 13 episodes <.<
