All else fails, I advance one of them and then default them until they're eliminated from contention.

Funny that my brother and I are waiting for our turn to come but there's somthing stalling them... Did you do this on purpose so we can't win?!? lol

Anyway, I PMed Acer and he's trying to fix his problem today (Tuesday) so he and my brother can get their match going. If not he said he'll give a pass for my brother to advance. >_>

And I'm just sitting here waiting for my turn! :p

Now that April Fool's Day has passed, hopefully we can get the matches back on track.

Unfortunately I'll be out of town Friday night, Saturday, and most of Sunday. I'll be getting back Sunday afternoon/evening, and if the match ups are ready by Friday, I may be able to get in the matches 5-6pm EST on Friday before I leave. Otherwise I'll be free Sunday night and the rest of the week as per usual.

Has anyone heard from Turbo or KrelEN? I would prefer not to hold everyone up this weekend, so if we can get a few matches out of the way before I leave, that'd be great.

Krel mentioned that he would try and see if he could battle Turbo, but other than that, I haven't heard anything else going on... I'll probably give Turbo and Acer a PM about their battles though.

Might as well mention that I too will be out of town from Friday to Sunday.

Sorry, Kai. Stuff keeps coming up so I haven't been able to play Brawl. I will try to do this match with you tomorrow. If not, Friday for sure. I'm meeting up with Stop Sign that day and playing Brawl that evening anway. If you don't want to wait that long you can go ahead and pass me with a win. Though I'd say the longer the better for you since I'll probably be rusty at it by then. >_>

Unfortunately, Chaotic, our match will have to wait a short while. My hard drive's about to die (it blue-screened on me twice in 5 minutes with related errors and failed to even FINISH chkdsk twice in a row), and I'm shopping around for a new one. Meaning I won't be with a computer for about a week, maybe more.

If I'm not back up by next Friday I'll nick my mom's laptop and set up a match that way.

On the bright side, you can practice your ZA WARUDO dodging. :p

Just a heads up, my internet is down while they do some upgrade repairs, although they said didn't say for how long, I would guess a week or so. Sorry about this but I would have to pull out of the tournament, and possibly for the 2v2, since I'm using the laptops wifi, can't really connect for the wii.

Alright, Krel and Acer have both PMed me and have both dropped out to prevent the tournament from being held up.

As a result, this moves Freelance Wolf and Slicky into the second round of the Loser's Bracket automatically.

Pretty even match decided by items. We each had a soccer ball KO and I killed him with the Dragoon not 10 seconds after he'd respawned. Didn't even think I hit him, but apparently I did.

Second match: Zelda (me) vs. Ganondorf (Lukage)
Stage: Final Destination

Ganon was a bit too slow of a character, though his Smash certainly hurts like hell. So does Zelda's, though. =D

Third match: Ness (me) vs. Peach (Lukage)
Stage: Bridge of Eldin

His Peach was pretty evil with all the damage reflecting, and he did a great job evading me for most of the battle. He got something like 3 Smash balls too, though I don't think I died from any of them. He dodged every one of Ness' Smash lightnings too, so it was very much a battle of ineffective balls. Lukage dominated mostly, but it evened out at the end and I barely won.

Good fights overall, though like I said, the first one was all about the items.

What? I got one smash ball, and it HEALS me...

Yeah, but it also puts every enemy to sleep. Prime smash attack opportunities, and I know you had at least two.

One that I got where you hit me out of the stage before I hit the ground. But yeah, fear the 75% damage throws (well, for your characters there's nothing to fear). Tritoch claimed to get two smashes on me. In total.

I think I had 20 per match. :\

Well, that was a fun asswhooping. After some technical difficulties, I got stomped 3-0. The first match was totally ruined by input latency (I haven't played online for a while) and the other matches were just me being outclassed.

I'm sure CN's bro is laughing it up.

For some reason I think the LAN adapter I bought didn't make any difference or maybe a bit worst. I should put it to more test to see if wireless or LAN is any better.

Anyway, my brother said great match and that he couldn't help it when the paper fan drop in. :tpg:

No, the match's lag was certainly manageable for most players, I just couldn't get used to it in time to make any real difference (so, it was ruined by my own inflexibility). I should have practiced online rather than off.
