Big giant update, lots of things has happened tonight:

Shorty has held back nuttyturnip's forces at Nara
but the victory was short-lived as Tritoch's troops stormed through Nara and Yamagata making Shorty the second person eliminated from the game (man, and the only player with some real connection to Japan as well . . .)
orion_mk3 launched an attack on knkwzrd's weak spot for MASSIVE DAMAGE taking the prefectures of Miyazaki, Nagasaki and Okinawa making knkwzrd the third person to be eliminated from the game
nuttyturnip fended off Rollins' assault of Kanagawa
Identity Crisis embarks upon Rollins' territory and conquers Tochigi, but not Saitama
Ryuu summons Godzilla from the deeps to cut a path open to take Yamanashi, Shizuoka and Nagano with ease
Ryuu advances into Rollins' territory to take over Saitama but failed at conquering Tokyo
nuttyturnip once again calls upon the help of Gamera, friend to all children, to help subdue Hyogo and Tottori and bring under his wing making Yeldarb the fourth person to eliminated from the game

The Gachapon was a pretty fun thing, and just as I expected, the distribution of prizes were split evenly between the Tank, Energy Boost, and 10 gil.

Hey Dull, by your rules do Godzilla affected countries all have to be touching one of mine or just one of them and they're all connected?

I'm going to roll tanks into Saga while I'm thinking about it. Sorry, Plarom.

EDIT:

orion_mk3 uses Tanks to storm Saga completing the requisite prefectures needed to become the Daimyo of Kyushu-Okinawa! (that may be soon to change, however, as warlords tend to have short lives)

Rollins calls upon Godzilla to prepare Niigata, Gunma and Saitama for occupation, and also uses Tanks to conquer Kanagawa 1 prefecture away from a Daimyo . . .

Very well, Rollins' actions have answered my question nicely.

First off, I'll use my Gachapon. Next, I'll buy and use GODZILLA on Aomori, Akita, and Iwate. Sorry about that Nutty, but I can't just leave one territory dividing my region in half.

Next, I'll use my existing tank on Kyoto. You really shouldn't have attacked Osaka, Plarom. =D

As for my four attacks, I'm rollin' on into Tokushima, Gunma, Tochigi, and Fukui.

Once I saw your first post, alarms went off in my head that you were going for a power grab at my expense. If you were or not I don't know, but since it's obvious I'm on my way to becoming 5th out of the game, I figured I should do something remotely interesting before I go.

Ahh, I picked up some tricks for my next game of Risk though, haha. Good newbie experience here.

Originally the Godzilla was going to be aimed at you, haha. Then I realized the bridge to Hokkaido was 3 countries instead of the 2 I thought.

Oh, and I can't have Plarom surviving like that to seek revenge upon me later. I'm using the tank I received from Shorty to take back Osaka.

And it's official, Plarom is the fifth person eliminated from the game!

I'm summoning the wrath of Gamera to take Toyama and Gifu away from ctu. I know it won't eliminate him, but it's too tempting with only the two bright green countries remaining on the map.

Gamera is really neat, he is filled with turtle meat!

Day 4 is upon us, with two Daimyos, Tritoch in the north and orion_mk3 in the south. Their attacks and defenses on Day 4 will have an extra 5-integer spread on either side of their numbers. Should they remain Daimyos by the end of the day, the benefits carry onto the next day. Would we see a Shogun arise by the rising moon?

Actually, I think I'll just roll a tank into Yamaguchi, which is the only link between the mainland and Kyushu, which should cancel the attacks on Fukuoka and Oita.

So... No numbers or updates today? It'd be nice to know if attacks are succeeding or not since we can only hit adjacent countries. =/
