No prob. I'm actually surprised it wasn't Chibi-Tech, since this kind of thing seems to be his specialty. Although how did you find out it was by Tony Thai?

Probably the best one so far. AFK's 8 is out. Konata's Dad. :tpg: |

Japan is just plain fuckin' wierd and I think it's high time we send them another nuke. |

At least it was timed relatively well. I can't say the same for the choreography though. :eagletear: |
I can't believe it took me 3-4 viewings of episode 8 to realize that most of the female characters (fellow students in the sports fest, female accidently locking keychains with another student) were actually voiced by obvious male voices!!
Made me LOL!! |
I found out about this show in a screening room at Animazement and I adored it. All the mech jokes in ep 2 were great and the Gunbuster reference made it instant win in my book.

Does this show really merit spoiler tags? |
I'm not sure but....
Spoiler:
...you used tags so I'll use them too..... :D |
I gave this show a watch after watching episode 1 yesterday. Now I'm on episode 5 and I must say it isn't bad like people assume it is. The animation looks colorful and it might throw a few people off from it but the comedy and Konata saves the whole show. It's also more different than Azumanga Daioh. If not on par with it then maybe better. I'll be looking into this til it finishes. I dig the whole references to other animes and manga (though there are too many that I'm not familiar with).
ps : Episode 5's ed theme was the best XD. Glad to know there are still DBZ fans out there.. |

Geez...it fails on so many level it's not even funny. |
I dunno, aside from the actors being slightly...unphotogenic...I thought it was pretty well done overall. The pom-pom thing looked like it would've been really hard to get right, but it turned out very nicely.

Oh Japan:
Bonus: Presenting the full REDALiCE remix of the OP:
Miyuki getting the eyedrops was the highlight of episode 9 for me (someone even extended the scene... the "Eyedrop Cruelty Version"). Lucky Channel is definitely bouncing back with their self-referential humour. This show is so successful, it doesn't even make sense. |

The first video.... what game and are those mods?! WTF?
|
I really enjoyed episode 9, and I was especially amused by Konata's enthousiasm about the mail-in prices. That's exactly the way I am when I order stuff online. When it's a preorder, I even get 3 levels of excitement. First when I place the order, second when I get the email that it's been sent out, and third when it arrives! :D
|
lol, Episode 9...eyedrops scene...priceless. :tpg:
Anyways, I found this time's Lucky Channel to be a bit more amusing and not continuing the downward slope that it's been on since the first one. Also, is it just me or is it the SAME GUY doing every single random minor character's voice? |
And this is the Initial D parody scene, synced to the original audio from that show:
Now I get the point of Konata's little dialogue with her teacher :( |
|||||
Hahaha, now i get the Initial D part... That's insane.
And I found this online... pretty cool. The beginning might be a little annoying but, it is awesome! It is ASCII version of OP video.
|
|||||
Woah, is there some program that converted the video to ASCII? Or did this guy actually MADE this? O_O
|
I hope he converted it using a program, for his own sake... hehehe
|
He must've used some sort of program, there's no way he could've made it all by himself......even the credits are still included!
episode 10 was pretty cool. The sleepover at Konata's house was funny, as well as pretty enlightening. Spoiler:
Made me LOL....."Kagami-sama!" |
Is it just me or they are trying to sneak in as many meme in this anime as possible?

I loved the random stuff in episode 10.....

Also, could anyone make out the manga titles in Konata's room? Spoiler:
