As for the new shot... At first glance, I thought the game might have been Darkstone, but the graphics look way too good for that. So I have no clue. :(

Elixir's got it again. Arx Fatalis it is. Though I didn't expect it to be so much of a stumper, as the game isn't even remotely obscure. I would have hinted that the game was a spiritual successor to Ultima Underworld, and that would have surely given it away.

I just took a glance through all the threads and I don't even recognize most of those names.

i recognized arx fatalias :). One of the first full length games i D/led from bit torrent....a weird way to remember it I guess. I remember that exact are too. I kinda just fought my way through the snake women instead of waiting for the story to take me to them.

For some reason, I haven't heard of about half the games in this thread. I've never heard of Arx Fatalis, though I recognized some of the Ultima Underworld interface in that screenshot.

The real challenge to this thread is actually getting to it before everyone else shows up and guesses it first. >_>

That's what I'm thinking about 70% of the time... The game knowledge here surpasses the board I originally had the idea on... Everyone on the other board are all mainstream gamers... This one is just straight up challenging.

This is Bishi Bashi. Though I'm not sure if I'm supposed to know which Bishi Bashi it is. I'm guessing the one that made it to Europe as well so Bishi Bashi Special, I suppose.
