need help with EVE battle screen pack
 

ive installed my screen pac but every time i try to open mugen it comes up with this :
library <built in> message: cant change video mode.

error message: error loading titleBG
error loading system data: data/EVEbattle/data/system.def

library error message: sprite doesn't exist: 300,1
error in [titleBG 0,haze]

can sum 1 help me

It's about time someone got to work on this. If people can create original characters from scratch, someone should've gotten to work on FF characters by now.

10,000 Screenpack
 

Ok, I checked out the one screenpack that holds 10,000 characters. Its a nice screenpack and, well, that's a lot of characters...but I guess I find myself more leaning towards the iconic menus (with faces) even if they are about a micrometer long on ones like EVE. I prefer EVE at the moment, because, to my knowledge, it holds about 1001 character. My question is:

Do they have any screenpacks that perhaps have categories with dropdown-like menus or "pop-up" menus that turn into the square-icon-face ones? Like the way I pictured the Mugen 10K pack was that when I selected NEOGEO or SNK it would bring up a traditional face chart for me to choose from. So what would be the best screenpack for what I'm talking about...should I just stick with EVE? Thanks to anybody for their input in advance.

about that screenpack, you can have an alternate screen for your character select, its a square icon face on like u say, but the entire screen holds around 800 chars, so u can use that one instead until u go over the limit. u have to switch the selects tho, and u can find the 800 char select somewhere in the eve folder. hope this helps

This site has a lot of character packs. See if one of them has Shin Akuma. I'm wondering if you guys can help me find these three stages from X-Men: Children of the Atom. The ones I have aren't interactive or as good as the ones that were in the original game. You'll see what I mean.

Storm's Stage: On the Blackbird - I want a version that goes from day to noon, like in the original COTA. The one I have just stays at day.

Iceman's Stage: Ice on the Beach - In COTA the piece of ice you fought on moved around towards the ocean. I want a version like that. My version just stays in one place.

Spiral's Stage: Mojo World - I want a version where the floor actually breaks several times while you are fighting. You fall about 3-4 times. The version I have doesn't break at all.

On a related note, my Cyclops: Danger Room stage and Sentinel: Genosha stage have a minor glitch in it. They transition just like they do in COTA, but both stages have a hole (I don't know what you want to call it) at the far right of the stage. You don't fall through of course but you can see through it and it looks rather choppy. Anyone know how to fix this? Or if you can't fix it does anyone have a version that's not glitchy like that?

Hey tifa maybe you should try finding things yourself before you shoot your mouth of to others who have helped/trying to help you.

I tried looking for the stages on the site you gave but they weren't there. : ( Street Mugen lists them as being on some sites but the links are all broken. Thanks. Btw the Storm stage does change from day to noon right? Otherwise I already have the day-only version.

Alright I got the EVE SP to work but for some reason wen I go to the character selection screen I can move it all all I can only chose esc

ur control scheme changes to six buttons the (l)(; )(') keys for punch and the (,) (.) (/) keys for kick

Hello, everyone *smiles and waves* I just registered for the site after reading all the other posts in this topic. I've just started using M.U.G.E.N. and have spent many days and nights searching for characters with working dl links. I have a very low amount of charries compared to most of you here and am trying to fix that...I'm in need of any JoJo's Bizarre Adventure characters besides Shadow Dio (everyone prolly has him by now lol ) Kakyoin,and Robber Soul. I also really need Holy Order Sol from GGXX..umm..#? Or is it #Reload?

Anyways here is the list of characters I currently have -Ash Crimson, Grant, Ibuki, Kaede, Kung Fu Man (I like KFM so I kept him :P ) Krizalid, Kakyoin, Robber Soul, Oni, Setsuna, Falcon (Sengoku3), Shadow Dio, Elisabeth B. and Iori. If anyone can help me out i'd greatly appreciate it.

Thank you! This site pretty much eliminated my wishlist for the Capcom side of my roster. You are the best!! Now I have Darkstalkers, SF3, and much more completed. Also the MUGEN Lost & Found section is very helpful...I recommend this forum very much... :)

I am utterly DREADING doing the SNK side of the character menu...Its nearly taken me a week to organize and fill in holes from existing characters I have on my hard drives...I can't imagine what its going to be like finishing the SNK rosters and organizing those. When I'm done I'll make a mega-torrent so people won't have to request hardly anything anymore...well, except the stuff I don't have.
