Let's posse up and do this then.

I'm going to laugh when there's a dragon in the third chest.

No. Hard Pass. Dec 22, 2010 09:33 PM

So are we just waiting on Wvlf, now?

A4: IN THE DUNGEONS OF THE SLAVE LORDS Dec 23, 2010 01:58 AM

Don't know about everyone else but that's what I was holding back for.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Dec 23, 2010 06:44 AM

Yep, that's why I said I'd take up the rear, so that when he finally posts we can move on. Has anyone PM'd him to see if he still wants to play?

Edit: Fuck it, Beefi's going to use GFZ as an improvised weapon until Wvlf takes control again.

wvlfpvp Jan 2, 2011 03:47 PM

I edited my post since I'm somewhere that has my power descriptions. Now that we're on Obsidian, where can we see our stuff for combat math if we're on a computer without access to the character builder (or my printed out copies of the old-old character sheet).

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Jan 3, 2011 07:41 AM

Well it's been a remarkable display of martial prowess in this fight so far.

We're just rolling out the low numbers, right?

Your Expanded Reference should have pretty much all the numbers you need.

New Year's Eve/Day is a gimme, but things are getting silly now.

Somebody grab Sam and make him stick his head in a spear trap or something. Strike one.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Jan 6, 2011 01:38 PM

Mummies? Really?

Still, between wvlf and Deni this game is starting to run really slowly. Are you guys having computer/time issues or just losing interest?

No. Hard Pass. Jan 6, 2011 02:52 PM

Wait, what? I'm up? I've been waiting for someone else to go. Goddamnit. I've literally complained about how long this has been taking. I had no idea -I- was being the asshole. Sorry guys. Will rectify tonight. :(

Or not, since Skills lives on the internet and already fucked everything up. That works too.

The unmovable stubborn Jan 6, 2011 02:54 PM

Well, skills kind of already took care of the problem this time and I'm not letting you recon, since... well, mummies. :)

No. Hard Pass. Jan 6, 2011 03:40 PM

Yeah, I'd noticed that. Let's get all Scooby Doo up in this muth.

wvlfpvp Jan 6, 2011 03:40 PM

I've been having a few time issues, but that should clear up now that I've actually got my Master's.

Comprehensive exams take time.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Jan 7, 2011 11:05 AM

Coolio, let's murder these undead fucks quick sharp, nab the loot and go find the boss of this overly intricate grave for a quiet chat.

YOUR TURN, 'CHANIC.

Animechanic Jan 7, 2011 04:04 PM

Allrighty, undid most of the sabotage. Commence the murder!

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Jan 8, 2011 10:30 AM

Quick abilities question: Beefi's got a class power that lets him get a free melee basic attack in when he rolls a critical hit and it says once per level. Does this mean he can do it seven times a day or that he gets seven free attacks when he rolls a critical (I can guess what the answer is likely to be but you never know...)?

The unmovable stubborn Jan 8, 2011 10:34 AM

...it's not "once per level", Rampage can trigger up to once per round. Fixed.

That's why we don't let Zerg edit our sheets. A LESSON IS LEARNED.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Jan 8, 2011 10:52 AM

Haha, thought that was a bit odd.

You might have noticed I did a quick edit on my last post. I mis-read the Brutal Slam power, I thought it did damage to an enemy adjacent to me, not to my target. As such, rather than smash the skeleton into the corner out of the bat zone and killing another mummy, I've shuffled up, and pushed him the other way, keeping him in the zone and smashing him into a different mummy which might kill the mummy anyway (Not sure on the rules for having monsters pushed into you when you're up against a wall). Also, not sure if the chest is big enough to add damage when the skeleton is pushed through it.

Hope you don't mind the quick redact, it didn't involve rolling any extra dice and I can change it back if you think it's a bit cheeky.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Jan 9, 2011 12:39 PM

Since Beefi and Slim have the same initiative roll, is a case of who posts first goes first or does whatever he chooses to do happen at the same time as what I did?

The unmovable stubborn Jan 9, 2011 03:48 PM

Though you have the same initiative total in this fight, Slim's initiative bonus is higher so his turns take place just before yours.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Jan 9, 2011 07:20 PM

Ok. If he does anything that moves the skeleton, can you just assume my big shift at the start of my turn is to where ever results in a roughly similar outcome please?

Zephyrin Jan 12, 2011 04:58 PM

I was curious. Are there any live online play utilities out there? I suppose all that would really be needed is some kind of map program that everybody could connect to and maybe a dice roller everybody could see, and everything could take place on skype or ventrillo, so I can't imagine something like this would be too hard to find. Then again I haven't looked.

If we could have small live sessions, it would be the koolest.

A4: IN THE DUNGEONS OF THE SLAVE LORDS Jan 12, 2011 05:00 PM

I've seen this done with maptools and skype by various people.

Yeah, the actual mechanics of it are simple; the problem is just getting six people to sit still for an evening.

Animechanic Jan 12, 2011 08:14 PM

Just look at how much trouble some people have popping into a thread once a week to take their turn.

While it would be a lot of fun, it would require a corps of players with a lot of free time or at least the ability to ignore any social demands for an evening.

I'd be up for it.
