AWESOME.. just.. FUCKING AWESOME. The server went down for "emergency maintenance" for 2 hours. Right before we started back in MC. My Shaman is 57 and I went in. first off, I won the Earthfury Shoulders! SWEET! Then we one shot everything and get to Domo. ONE SHOT DOMO! So we decide to go see rag. With 25 people left in the raid group, we get Rag to 89%.

Oh my god.. I thought I'd never see Rag EVER... now I have, and I feel like all that time running MC since Janurary with at least 3 different guilds has paid off. ;_;

heh that lag happened with us too. I think it's because the server that Laughing Skull and Thunderhorn are on are the same ones. They brought it down Wed for 36 hours for new hardware, then saturday night, the server just goes "pbbblt" then today at about 5-ish, we are in MC "OH BTW LOLZ WE NEED 2 TAKE SERVER DOWN AGAIN, K? ^_^" ugh. so I just started my character back up on Black Dragonflight.

Grats on the EF shoulders. For healing, what you'll want to work towards is DEFINITELY the Ten Storms bracers, boots, and (I think) leggings for the 3-piece bonus, and the rest Earthfury. That combo is literally the best you can get until Tier 3.

Never, EVER, though, roll on any other piece of Ten Storms, or spend DKP, or do anything to get it unless it's guaranteed to be free and it's gonna be sharded otherwise. The freaking Tier .5 helmet is better than the Ten Storms helmet. ._.

I didn't do a too bad job healing with me not being Restore. (Elemental/Enhanced) My only problem was getting out of mana way too fast, even from lesser healing waves. I'll probably respec today, since I'm 57 and really don't need much more to level

Mana Stream totems are pathetic compared to paladins wisdom. I guess for shamans it's good that you guys get paladins, but on the other hand, you might lose raid spots because they are better more effecient healers.

I think it's a bad move from blizzard personally to get rid of the only thing that seperated the horde and alliance.

Trust me and wait until 60 to respec. And might I suggest a 30/0/21 or 0/30/21 build? Those two allow you Nature's Swiftness, which, IMO, is a must-have talent for raiding, and allows you to maintain a decent PVP capability. If you're going to be focusing more on raiding than PVP, then you might also consider the Enhancement build because it allows you to farm efficiently with little to no downtime. If you're going to be raiding exclusively and/or there's no Healing Way specced shaman running, however, you'd most likely be best off going with a 0/5/46 build and getting all the goodies Resto has to offer, as much as I am loathe to admit it.

Eh, you're thinking in terms of today's raiding. 25-mans are going to most likely result in a very high demand for hybrids, and pallies and shammies are being shifted more or less to the point where the only thing they have in common is a healing spell. If blizzard pulls it off right, then both are going to have their place: Paladins will be needed for tanking (personally, I hope that they're made as effective yet different from warrior tanking, myself, and the preview of their snap-aggro spell looks to accomplish that), and shammies will be needed for DPS... although they need to work on that a little bit. Giving us a 20% natural aggro reduction deep in Enhancement, an Evocate copy-cat or the like deep in Elemental, and an aggro wipe like other classes either already have or are getting would go a LONG way to accomplishing this. Our 41-pointers need buffing BADLY, too. Totem of Wrath translates to about 1.25% crit, and Unleashed Rage, under the most generous and unlikely of circumstances, basically translates into a free major mana potion. With Judgement of Wisdom, it's... okay, but I'd rather not have to rely on another person's proc for my own viability.

Ten Storms helps with keeping Ancestral Fortitude up at all times. I didn't see why ten storms needed crit until I saw Patchwerk and co.

Paladins tanking is the end of the world. Please let that not happen!

You hordie warriors are going to feel the pain of losing plate to loladins soon as well. Your precious days of plate = warrior are soon over. I wouldn't mind if it's a competent paladin, but 99% of the paladins I saw that went for everything that had plate in it, were complete morons.

Yes, there's plenty of them. Everytime I see a paladin with the best dps plate gear and a dark edge of insanity I cry IRL.

Kharazan is supposed to be where some of the expansions really good shit drops. I think it may be Tier 4, not too sure. If it is, I'm willing to be you need the T3 to upgrade it. I sorta hope that it has it's own distinctive Tier though, for the fact the warrior T4 armor looks sweet, if in fact what I've seen is true.

Pretty sure that isn't the regular BE mount. As of yet, I don't think anybody in the alpha has leveled a blood elf high enough to purchase their level 40 mount, and if they have, they haven't said anything.

If anything that will be the flight path mount when flying from Blood Elf towns and territories. The fact that it would simply hover alone makes it pretty dumb to begin with, I mean it's a fucking phoenix. Use a phoenix to fly, use a cockatrice to walk.

I'll add that a friend of mine in the alpha says it's still just Wyverns and Bats, but then again, Shadowmoon Valley consists of a bunch of red outlines where things will be and several classes have no talents, soooo... who knows? Wait until later alpha builds. We'll be seeing their mounts soon enough.

eh, I dunno. I just want the expansion to hurry it's ass up.. or at least Blizzard fucking ALLOW people to make videos and post them. Like say let them just be able to film areas and shit, but leave new bosses alone and everything.


ALSO... it appears more people are getting their accounts hacked. Another person from our server got hacked. He just hit High Warlord last week, this week he logs on his character and everything that can be D/Ed and vendored, was on all his characters. GG. He's hoping to get his stuff back soon, but I've heard where it takes up to a month and even then it depends on the person who handles your case. Some people get their shit back, others get a big whopping 150g.

The people who actually play the alpha are given characters already at lvl 60 so ya never know.
