Frozen Memories Feb 17, 2008 01:00 AM

Let's see... I bought a 360, and as such, I had to have bought some games for it! I bought:

Blue Dragon: I haven't heard much good about it, but, hey, I wanted to give it a shot. It's interesting thus far. I like the class system that's set up.
Lost Odyessey: Which, for some reason, I cannot spell. I really like it thus far. Looking into the main character's memories and dreams are very interesting.
Dead Rising: It was cheap, and I heard it was fun. Well... it's okay. I'll let my lover play that one.
Bioshock: Haven't played yet.

Also, for little apparent reason, I picked up Sonic Heroes for the Gamecube. I think I was enjoying Sonic Adventure 2 Battle a bit too much when I decided I wanted that game. Ah well.

~~~
Oh yeah, nice grab on the Klonoa game, scotty.
My March Break is going to be largely consumed by reading and essays, so I decided that I'd buy some fighters to vent some anger.
KoF XI
Neo Geo Battle Coliseum
Hopefully I made good choices o_o
WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?
Oh, and I picked up No More Heroes the other week. Good stuff.
Tagonist Mar 8, 2008 07:01 PM
You didn't seriously use M$ in a post, did you? Tell me I'm seeing things.
You most certainly did make some good choices.
Last game I picked up, was Uncharted. I won't be playing it until I get a HDTV though. Tomorrow I'll be getting a Wii with Brawl, and No More Heroes.
Oh, and I'm behind and shit. Last game I got was Apollo Justice. I need to buy Patapon and some Live Arcade games I'm behind on.
Manny Biggz Mar 8, 2008 10:05 PM
Oh, I had forgotten that I ordered a few games from Amazon. I picked up Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Legendia, Phoenix Wright 3, and Apollo Justice. I already beat the 2 Tales games, but I wanted to support them by buying them. Hopefully can help give them a reason to bring some of the other ones over here.
Because, I bought it for someone who thought liked the game.
They were wrong, and now I want to stab them for making me buy one of the shittiest games Sega Team ever crapped outta their pants.
*ahem*
Well, I got Audiosurf a couple days back. I'm REALLY loving it. Too bad my crappy computer can barely handle it.
I really gotta get some more songs, though.
I've said it before, but being stupid is a bannable offense. Let this be a lesson to everyone else. Being completely retarded gets you threadbanned. Don't do it.
Since I now have all 3 SMB games, Mario 64, and Sonic 1 for VC, and plan to get a couple more VC titles in the near future, I picked up a classic controller just yesterday. (It hasn't seen use yet.) With its SNES controller-derived goodness, I just might try to tackle something like Castlevania 4.
UltimaIchijouji Mar 10, 2008 02:38 AM
SSBB and SM64 for Wii/VC.
What a beautiful sight.
Gotta cancel my old Heavenly Sword preorder and my SSBB one when I go back to Pittsburgh. I'll probably put one in for MGS4 or something.
I really want Audiosurf but my Boot Camp partition won't freaking recognize my sound.
Single Elbow Mar 10, 2008 02:22 PM
4 games as stated in my gurnal.
1. Condemned 2
2. Dark Sector
3. Viking: Battle for Asgard
4. GTA IV
Preorders of course, but Condemned 2 this Wednesday. As for the -very- recent, the first Condemned game. Hopefully by the second, they fix the sprint action (looks like a snail trying to run).
Dark Nation Mar 10, 2008 08:41 PM
Can't remember what I put for last time, but I have gotten the following recently:
- Lost Odyssey
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Probably won't get anything else till late April (Force Unleashed, GTAIV, Persona 3: FES) / Early May
Infernal Monkey Mar 10, 2008 09:02 PM
Uuuuhhh it's been thirty years since I've last posted in here, but these are my two most recent most IMPORTANT SEXY-O purchases I guess!
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y13.../barnspace.jpg
Test-run at Play-Asia to see if pre-paid credit cards do indeed work on the internets! I've been following Barnyard Blast since it was originally announced like some kind of stalker, it's so good. Hilarious Castlevania parody game, gameplay's basically exactly the same as the classic Castlevania's (not the Metroid style ones they seem so fond of these days!) It's difficult, but a lot of fun. You've got a whip, a handgun, a shotgun and some TNT to get you through. Sadly candles can't be whipped for hearts though. :(
The script is by far the best part, with 8-bit video game references EVERYWHERE from Mario, Mega Man, Bad Dudes, blah blah blah. I'M GOING TO MAKE A THREAD ABOUT THIS GAME OR SOMETHING ijfjisjif. Edit: ahahaha it seems I already did last year. I'm so awesome!
Space Invaders Extreme is also awesome. Classic Space Invaders (sorta) with power-ups, combos, some amazing pumping music (and the sound effects melt into it in a Rez kinda way) and trippy eye-bleeding backgrounds. I'm very pleased in several parts of my body.
Leknaat Mar 10, 2008 10:25 PM
The last two games I bought are:
Dragon Quest VIII and
Tales of the Abyss.
I can't stop playing Tales of the Abyss.....
Freelance Mar 10, 2008 10:59 PM
Got a budget game today, Patapon while I was in Wal-Mart.
It was pretty darn hard at first. I have no rhythmic skills whatsoever apparently. Took forever just to get past the first part. I restarted the game and got better though.
It's pretty cute.
Heisho-Ryuu Mar 15, 2008 09:10 PM
Well is not recent, but it's my latest adquisition (is that spelled right?). And I didn't saw the post until now.
Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia Limited Edition (with artbook)
Why: I'm a fan of games like this. The music made in a language that only this game offer (and is not gibberish, it actually has translation) the Hymnos. Also the art of the game, the fact that you get deep inside the Reivateils to help them in their personal issues (and cool and fan-services outfits), and an interesting combat system are the special ingredients for a nice RPG IMO.
Also I like special or limited editions.
Can't wait for the sequel...
SouthJag Mar 15, 2008 09:46 PM
I've made several pick-ups recently and not-so recently. Between this week and last week, I've picked up God of War for the PSP and its strategy guide, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters for the PS2, and Wild Arms XF. I like GoW a lot, but I'm actually get more fond of Wild Arms XF.
Next week'll be the Metal Gear Solid: Essentials Collection and the week after that, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core and its strategy guide.
Freelance Mar 16, 2008 01:13 PM
Blazing Lazers for the Wii. I made it to the 4th level. Great game.
I got Godzilla Unleashed in the mail. It's hard to get used to the Wiimote + nunchuk setup. it's the only control option in the game, sadly.
Star Soldier (PSP) should be coming sometime this week. Can't wait.
The Rock Mar 16, 2008 05:39 PM
My last two games I purchased were:
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Next game I plan on getting is Metal Gear Solid Essential Collections, and I can't wait for MGS4.
Kimchi Mar 16, 2008 06:16 PM
Just bought
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney -> Used for 15.00
Phoenix Wright: Justice for all -> Used for 10.00
I think it was steal, Capcom still prints the series right?
Chaotic Mar 16, 2008 07:11 PM
They do, but those prices are pretty good.
aesop Mar 17, 2008 07:43 AM
Most recently I've bought No More Heroes and a Freeloader for Wii. And I've ordered Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness for PSP too. =)
