Whats a good program to shrink the UMD size? to compress it (900mb per game is :3 for a 2gig user like me)

Use CSO-DAX Compressor

Open the ISO with UMDGen and save as CSO. That way you can get rid of the included firmware updates and try the automatic ripping functions as well. Some games compress better than others, of course. Just don't except miracles.

About cwc cheat, how the hell do you install it in your psp?

hmmm today I just noticed that there's some dust that got it between the psp screen and the "plastic case" and I was wondering if it was safe to open my psp just to take that dust out, but I can clearly see it when I play a game...

or if there's other way to safely clean it up...

You would have to open it up. However your warranty would be voided cause the warranty sticker is on top of the screw (bastards..) so you would have to remove it if you're going to open it up to remove specs of dust.. That happened to me as well so I did exactly that and well..it's voided ;p. My only guess is when you open the UMD slot, the inside accumalates dust and if you were to blow in it, expect a dustball or something.

well it's been 2 years since I have it so it's not on the warranty anymore XD I guess I'll have to open it up.

Anyways, what games are you guys playing now? I've been addicted to Crush, on/off on Metal Gear Solid and going to continue Legend of Dragoon (Disk 2).

Playing too much Super Robot Wars Alpha and Alpha Gaiden, and managed to get resident evil 2 to work so... I've been doing the whole RE marathon from RE0 to RE4 (excluding all the spin offs except code veronica)

Nope, you can't downgrade 2.81. However, you can downgrade 3.02 and 3.50. The downside is you'll need a Lumines (US/EURO) version (for 3.50)or US GTA:Liberty City Stories (for 3.02).

I got my psp downgraded when i was in hongkong (2.81 firmware) Awesome chinese people.

The thing is sepharite my Circle button, broke thats why i put it in and like put in a little tape for it to stick, still usable but damn fucking ugly.

I recently got a new psp from best buy with the PRP thing. My old one was gettin all crappy, what with the UMD door not closing and dead pixels and what-have-you. Havent downgraded yet, but all I been doing is playing Lumines, ironically enough, and listenin' to MP3s.

The new psp I happened to get was 2.60, so I'm guessin you'd be hard-pressed to find a new psp with 2.70 or higher, which is a good thing of course. :D
