I haven't checked on this thread in a while. Well, I end up gotting the game the day it came out without needing to reserve it at Target. I also just unlocked each character, and it seems Zelda and Toon Link are my current bests, but I also realize I greatly underestimated Olimar.

The Wifi random matches are occasionally laggy, but it usually ends within the first 10 seconds, with a few random lag spikes during the match. I've actually gone through many matches that had no lag spikes at all.

Lastly, a question: If I add someone to my list, do they get some sort of notification to accept or decline, or do they have to manually add me in order for us to become on eachother's buddylists?

I finally made some changes to my control mappings, and I must say I'm loving it so much better. I had no idea you can disable the up-tap jump on the joystick. Now I should stop SD-ing as a result of inadvertent double jumping/flying/B-ing (meaning I'll last longer than I already do). I also moved the taunts to the D-pad so I can use the taunts I want to now. :p

On a separate note, what about Icy? He dies. Oh HE DIES. (Also, I definitely like the "Icy" nick over "IC." ...cool, I dunno. Heh.)

I noticed you can 'submit' images and stages you make online, but where do they go? The official website? I don't see anything there.

P.S. I unlocked Jigglypuff today, which I don't care about since I'm never going to use the puffball. I also did lots of events and got some new CDs. I now have 7 events left to complete.

As for replays, can you save online matches or is it just Vs only in your home?

Nope. It goes to a "Nintendo server" where they will look to see if it doesn't contain penis-like image and curse words. Then it will be randomly send out to each Wii who enable Smash Service.

Ugh . . . was playing on random matches last night and apparently I found some tourneyfags . . . at least they were changing characters when they kept forcing it to be fucking Final Destination.

Rofl, I fought my sister and brother-in-law last night.

Let's just say that I lost a grand total of one match, when somebody NOT me picked up a hammer and got 3 KO's.

Also, PK Starstorm is fucking HAX in a 4-player FFA. Ness's version kills in more or less one hit, and Lucas's just juggles everybody off the screen. It CAN be a bit spotty, but I got no KO's with it only once.

I played some random team battles since nobody was joining and got a good teammate. We dominated every single match. Our opponents were pretty crappy. The 3rd player used Peach in every damn round. I hate it when people do that >:P They only get like 1 or 2 KOs between the two of us, haha. Still fun though, although there was a bit of lag.

Once a picture is taken in 4:3 or 16:9, it stays like that. Just use Photoshop or something else to change the resolution (I forgot the exact number). >_>

If you have a 16:9 aspect ratio just change the image dimensions to 704x480 and they should look fine.

Great matches, Naz. It was laggy with Acer and Icy so I left. It's almost dinner for me anyway.

I know what else is an instant win for Kirby. The B button.

I died all three times due to Kirby walking off of a cliff with me in his mouth and me button mashing a bit too much. :(

Those were fun games though, despite the harsh lag.

Yeah, I left after that match too, Wolf. The lag was ridiculous. Made playing harder than it should be. Identity Crisis kept winning for the most part.

I have my DMZ set to the Wii so I don't get why it's so laggy.

lol why is it so god damn laggy? I don't understand. And honestly how are regular folks going to understand how to set their dmz and shit? The lag is ridiculous.

*shrug* It kinda makes me a bit angry as well because I'm used to lack of input lag(at least noticing it) in games. I was testing things last night to see what could help. Restarting my router did help during the timeframe I was testing it within a fun match against Kai.

I still thought catching him in a fan rush until his % was close to 200 still hilarious. :tpg:

Then we were in a 100-man brawl.
We were so damn close to finishing, and then one of them knocked him into the left side, and then another hit me off and I slammed into Kai knocking him off into the edge, thus ending the match. :(
