I'm tempted to remove you from this thread. =/
Noone uses Jigglypuff? Pshaw. I'd kick your ass all over town. |
What.
Jigglypuff is one of the highest ranked characters in competetive play. While I cannot speak much for her since I rarely use her, I believe actions speak louder than words. Also, Flint for SSBB http://camex.phenominet.com/avatars/SSBBFlint.gif |

At any rate, weaker/lower tier characters in fighting games are more likely to be tweaked in the sequel than dropped entirely. |

When they originally included Jigglypuff in SSB, they hadn't introduced the gender system in Pokemon. So I think it's probably safe to say that this Jigglypuff doesn't have a specific gender as of yet.
|
That's not true. They have a Pokemon in the original games that has two sexes. However, most Pokemon don't have a sex as you've stated so you really wouldn't be wrong if you called one that doesn't have a specified sex a him or a her or a it.

Missingno was a glitch in the game, it wasn't an actual pokemon.

You needed to use a Game Genie to unlock him, for one thing, then you had to have a Water pokemon (I used Lapras), and a specific move (Surf, I think it was) so that you could move around in water. And then, you had to move up and down ONE specific column in one specific screen, and that was the ONLY time either Missingno or Mew appeared. Oh, and it would also randomly glitch out to give you 99 of whatever was in your sixth item slot. 99 Master Balls ahoy~ Jesus FUCKING Christ. This discussion has brought out the inner Pokemon fanatic in me. You know, the one that was a fan of the show and also could name all 151 of them? I hate you all. T_T |

Also, around the time that Ruby/Sapphire came out, a method of obtaining Mew without glitching or game shark aid was found. I actually did it shortly after hearing about it for confirmation (even though many reliable members of the Pokemon community had already said that it was legit), and it DOES work, allowing you to capture a lvl 7 Mew.

I don't get it. Anyways, on topic again, Have we gotten any information oustide of new characters? New Items/Stages perhaps? New Single Player information maybe? All I know is that the huge Nintendog and the superpower pickup is there. |
Oh, I understand! J-Man wants Jennifer Aniston to be a new character for Brawl!
|
Pfft, it's pretty obvious what he means with the image.
And about new stages, what have you, it's possible that that an Akaneia stage will be included. They intended to include it in SSBM, but ran out of disc space, I think? Maybe they just ran out of time. It was a setting from the first Fire Emblem game on the NES, I believe. |

Since nobody has even posted here in a week, I shall begin the dicussion of whether or not you (the GFFrs) want the trophy system back.
Personally, I liked the system at first, but grew to hate it when I learned that I had to play 100 coin matches to get them all. What are your thoughts? |
I would only want the trophy system back if two things occur:
We would actually want all of the trophies (I'm sure there are plenty of bad trophy ideas they could use--I don't want those). The trophy slot machine option disappears after all of the trophies from that machine have been collected. |
I agree with above, but I'd also want them to include all of the trophies for both Japan and USA, as two trophies (Samus w/o helmet and Mario & Yoshi) weren't available here and could only be grabbed from stations set up in game stores in Japan.
Why didn't they make them unlockable here? Anyway, I'm big on collectables whether in game or out. Perhaps you've seen my site? |
How about Earthworm Jim? :lolsign:
