New Playlist and changes are up. SWAT Magnums is actually pretty neat. Played it on one of the two new maps (Cliffhanger), which isn't bad.

Also Shake I looked at the numbers wrong, if the halowiki rank #'s are accurate, it's a total of 310,000 cR to go directly from Lt. Colonel Grade 3 to Colonel (completely bypassing Commander), not 240,000. I'm sitting at around 270,000 cR earned since I hit the cap, so I'm pretty confident I can pull that off before the cap is raised easy.

Lmao what. Now that the playlist chages are up, WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU AT SHAKE. Ain't seen you in days dawg. The Arena is so lonely. I managed to make Gold but got booted back to Silver the next day. I'm sad.

Also I've found Arena searching using the Closest Skill modifier results in a lot less idiots and quitters. Takes way longer to find games but it's very much worth it.

e: Ahahaha one of the challenges for today is 100 FF kills with the pistol. I can't wait to see that shit. Bunch of dudes running around with pistols getting blown up by Fuel Rod Cannon grunts and other assorted bullshit. These are the challenges that make the game worthwhile, like that Jetpack one yesterday. I was fucking dying during Team Slayer on Asylum as dudes would run up to each other, start shooting and then simultaneously start jetpacking while fighting. Another guy was jetpacking with the sword. It was quite possibly the funniest thing I have seen in Halo in a while. Real men get FF challenges in non-Score Attack modes, by the way.

I don't know what's funnier. People jetpacking with sword or Tails thinking he's a real man.

To be fair, yesterday was the first time in about three days that I played more than a couple of games. What's weird is the game bumped me to Silver in the Arena without me even playing. I guess sum bad kids (BKs) got rated!!!!lol

New Firefight owns. Feels a lot more chaotic and ODST-like now. Wraiths inside the Corvette, oh my god.

I'd play FF Matchmaking more if the latency wasn't so awful. Maybe if I just took in some of the Eurogamer people.

This is a Pro Tip. First game with it on, I go 13-6-7 and finish second with 1567.

There always were Wraiths inside the Corvette though. No friendly fire takes a lot of the fun out of it I think, especially as people don't even think twice about firing rockets at covvies you're meleeing now.

I agree though that real men play proper FF, score attack is for losers.

Speaking of offline, has anyone tried playing offline with a profile they've already played online?

I noticed my game won't even find my saves or replays on my HDD if I'm not logged on to Live, starting me off with a default armoury and a random callsign. Was wondering if that's something that's going to be patched or what.

I remember ODST (at least originally) didn't save your progress if you played offline and turned the console off, even after save & quit. Had to restart from the beginning three times before I put my console online for the duration of the campaign.

Yeah, like I am going to play long enough to get 200 fucking pistol kills with randoms in regular Firefight. Plus last night I was getting off when you invited me, I have some shit I need to do that I did not get a chance to because I got dragged into Matchmaking yesterday.
