The good thing about where I live, if there are any Wiis at the store on launch I can walk in on launch day and buy it. There is no such thing as a line up for any reason except for the odd nut that hangs outside thee ol real canadian superstore waiting to raid the marked down bin before anyone else...

Hopefully, where I live, there won't be any kind of line, at least hopefully not in a suburb. We have Best Buy, Circuit City, 2 EBs, a Gamestop and a Walmart, so I doubt ALL of those will run out come launch day. Might have to check more than one place, but they can't possibly all run out....can they?

Well I'm stuck with having to line up here :/ many places to go to but all are always sold out.

Strange that no one has yet to point out that it's definite that Toys R Us will be taking pre-orders this Sunday. Not only do you get an hours worth of extra sleep but a chance to sleep in and still wake up refreshed to place an order for the Wii.

Well, I'm glad you all will have a second chance on pre-ordering a Wii. I'll be rootin' for you guys come Sunday. I hope you guys will have a chance at that feeling at finally having it pre-ordered.

Also, I have a question. I've through like 10 pages of this thread but haven't found the answer so I'll ask again, will the Wii be compatible with all sd memory cards (512, 2gb, 4gb)?

Sweet, my parents are off gambling in Vegas without me, but my brother said he'll take me to TRU this weekend. I just called the store to ask them about it and the girl was like "Yup, we are, first come, first serve. We open at 10 so be there early! There'll be plenty people." Oh boy, don't I know it >.<

Augh, PAL version of Excite Truck's not due out till March next year now. Trauma Center doesn't seem like it's going to be released at all and Metal Slug is UNKNOWN. Good job going back on your word about no region locks Nintendo. Wii launch pretty much down the shitter for me. I suppose Zelda might be okay though. I guess.

Not including TP, I'm definately picking up Super Monkey Ball. And maybe Red Steel...

Not sure how it works in America, but if the Australian Toys R Us stores are anything to go by then they'll have heaps of Wiis there. Each TRU store has about 100 pre-orders here (one has 198) and they claim they can fulfill all of them at launch day.

Monkey Ball is my #1 launch game too, after Excite Truck vanished.

^Yeah, I can't quite figure that one out yet.I'm getting TP and an Xtra Wiimote w/ Nunchuck. But I can't figure out my second game. Red Steel looks cool..but FPS's are typically easy to run threw on console. I'll rent it for sure but thats the problem. All the others seem like rents. Excite Truck is looking like #2 as of right now anyway.

Aside from TP, I would've gotten MP3 Corruption, but I think I will go with Red Steel. I'll either get two games, or one game and one classic controller. Honestly have no clue as of right now :x

Monkey Ball's a must. I'll probably get run over by the hype train and get Zelda too. Aside from that there's also whatever the free Toys R Us game is gonna be.
