How does he fire a stinger missile anyways? O_o
|
With the Stinger Missle Launcher he pulls out from thin air, of course!
|
Thats gonna be a crazy quick pull out...they somehow have to pull off an animation that can show all that in less than 0.1 sec or so O_o
|
Like Kirby's hammer or Link's hook, it will simply appear in his hand. Who say it has to be instant? Most of the speacial (b) attacks weren't instant, they required some weilding time.
|
The stinger missle could be like Ness' Psi Thunder where you can control it while it's in the air

If Samus can have her lame ass missiles AND bombs AND the hueg cannon thing (power beam?) than Snake should be able to sport at least 3 of his own guns, just for fairness sake.
|
That would be the Stinger, the Nikita, and the Grenades. They've got to be explosives. A SOCOM or a FAMAS would not work, much less the PSG-1

Grenades or claymores? |
I was thinking Grenades like Samus's Down+B. They explode on impact so I guess they'd be grenades. Claymores would render the proximity mines item useless. C4 could be a possibility, but it runs into the same problem as claymores. That and it would take a while to plant.

Also, him firing a Stinger missile straight down is a ridiculously stupid idea. If it's an attack that fires ONLY DOWNWARDS, why the hell is it an UP+B move? |
A while back they had planned to release some Metroid Zero Mission gashapon toys, but everywhere I preordered them from cancelled the order and told me they never existed, and the project was never created.
Then I see this: http://www.videogamemm.com/pics/metr...ongashapon.jpg So naturally I'm curious. Is this a newly made Samus because of her new appearance in SSB Brawl, or was this always going to be? Interesting . . . |
Samus' appearance in Brawl is based off the GBA game Metroid: Zero Mission where she appears in the body suit near the end of the game. Thus the term "Zero Suit" Samus.

I just want smart AI. In SSBM, the AI (even at Level 9) was so easy. You through a Pokeball, have a charizard come out, and just stand in the middle of it and all the other characters just come at you and commit suicide.
I want AI that can be much smarter. |

That is a good idea. The old bots just followed their enemies blindly. you could trap them just based on the knowledge that wherever you went, they wouldn't be far behind. I want some I with my A. |
But hopefull this time we won't have to rely on AI as opponents (as much). Sakurai already confirmed multiplayer-online, even though it looks like it won't very complex, and will likely use the friend-codes system. I hope we'll be able to compete with random real people.

Who's saying we'll have to listen to people? If voice chat is even in the game then it will be an option that can be turned on and off and could even be customized to only be used with friends. Sakurai is all about options.

The button combinations don't have to make sense. As long as it can get him vertical distance, it doesn't matter. Just like how you can make Fox's UP+B go down as an attack. |

I REALLY hope they change that mechanic. I would like it personally if they only made it a guaranteed KO if you charged a smash fully. Then it might actually become useful. =D Quote:

Well Ness' bat is MUCH much more versatile which allows for more variety in tactical fighting and techniques:D. (still pissed at the GFF update not that it SHOULDNT have happened lol....joined these precious boards in 2002-03 and had more than 1000+ posts....damn:(. lol)

And I'm also waiting for an Underwater level. (Reason Being was because someone said that Goldfish actually does something under water. I threw away countless pokeballs trying to get Goldfish to come out.... and when it did, It didn't do anything. So maybe If we have an underwater stage ((AND A MAGIKARP!!)) Goldfish would be useful.) Plus it would be pretty cool!! |
