I picked up Actraiser complete for only 8 bucks. It came with the box, instruction manual, poster, the cardboard casing to hold the cart and hell even the plastic slip for the cart. I also got Power Monger for the Sega CD complete. It looks like an interesting strategy game.

Two words: Rock Band.
Next purchases: Folklore, Unreal Tournament 3, and the Eye of Motherfucking Judgment. |
I got Blue Dragon two days ago. Any other purchases have been recorded in my Journal. I just didn't feel like making an entry about it though.

Star Fox Assault. Fun stuff, but there's some things that they shouldn't have messed with... Like the Landmaster... How do you have a decent system in Star Fox 64, then mess it up and make it more complicated than it really should. <_<

Most recent purchase:
http://www.hyperjump.net/generic/939731_88538_front.png Picked up Geometry Wars: Galaxies the other night, mainly because I had a little money left on a gift card I wanted to burn, and I didn't want to break a 100-dollar bill on Umbrella Chronicles or Medal of Honor: Heroes 2. I'd heard good things about it, too. It's an absolutely fantastic arcade-shooter with surprisingly solid Wiimote controls, so I'm very pleased with the purchase so far. The graphics are simple enough, but the use of colors and the game's few 3D effects is nothing short of... psychedelic. Seriously, I imagine this game would look awesome if one were to be under the influence of LSD or some shit. The game also lets you download Retro Evolved onto your DS, so that's a pretty nifty bonus/covert advertisement for the DS version of Galaxies. It actually shows how brilliant an idea it was to add a Drone ally to the formula. Great buy, though I wish online multiplayer was on option (only online leaderboards are available). Ranked 150th on the first planet, haha. |

I never played the original Retro Evolved, but the DS Download Play version of it is exactly like the version of it found in Galaxies on the Wii (which is supposed to be the same Retro Evolved on Live Arcade). So, yeah, it's the full game.
The catch is that you'll have to download the game again once your shut your DS off. You can mostly get around this by putting the DS into sleep mode instead, but it means you can't play anything else. Still, it's a pretty badass bonus. |
Speaking of recent Wii-game purchases, I made the unfortunate decision to buy NiGHTS. That's a really bad game, and a damn shame too. Not gonna go into detail or anything, suffice it to say all the problems are gameplay-related, in which case should've been almost nothing short of excellence.
Oh well. Also recently picked up Blue Dragon for the 360 and Unreal Tournament III for the PS3. BD's not too bad, I'm just having a hard time getting some good playtime in. Can't seem to stick with it for a good length of time. UT3, however, pwns. Played a kickass online match the other night, but I'm still a noob for lack of ability to adjust to new controls. I'm gettin there though. |
Traded in a bunch of old worthless PS2 games for Mario Galaxy. I'm not sure I'm big on the gameplay yet. Somehow, the roundness of the levels seems too confining... But, overall seems like a quality Mario title.

Grabbed Assassins Creed and a Dual Shock 3 controller :)
|
Traded in my 2nd Galaxy for Super Paper Mario a few days ago, and finished the latter just moments ago. Merry Christmas everyone!
|
Basically Bought Umbrella Chronicles and Ghost Squad, enjoying the game, waiting for wii zapper.
Umbrella chronicles lenght has alot to be desired with. |
Recently picked up Ace Combat 6 and Mass Effect for the Xbox360.
What a wonderful holiday this is going to be :tpg: |
I scooped up a few games recently:
Super Mario Galaxy [Wii] I've gotten about 80 stars, played about 15 hours. SMG is amazingly well done, especially when you compare it to last-gen's Sunshine. Neverwinter Nights 2 [PC] Great game; a sequel that keeps its roots intact. I have yet to play it online, but I probably will once I beat the single player campaign. Halo 3 Legendary Edition [X360] I don't even own a 360, I just bought it when it was $60 on Amazon.com a few weeks back. Maybe I'll get the Xbox to go with it eventually. |
Akumajou Dracula X Chronicles Limited Edition (Konamistyle)
Taiko no Tatsujin DS Bleach 2nd DS The Orange Box Eternal Sonata ~Trusty Bell~ American SNES Lufia II That's it for now. I was planning on buying NiGHTS, but I'll probably wait until the PS2 remake comes along. |

Bought call of duty 4 for xbox 360. That and Assassins Creed are on sale right now at www.bestbuy.com for 37.99. Great deal for both games if you ask me. Not sure how long it will last though!
|
Ok, what's with the lists and short posts again? This is your last warning because it's christmas, people
|
Well, I ordered the game online and haven't had a chance to play it yet or else I would make a huge post detailing how awesome the game is. ;_;

Well I indulged myself for christmas, because I knew I wasn't getting anything really... So I bought myself DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and the import, Energy Airforce: Aim Strike. BT3 is a very fast game, the animation is beautiful, but they got rid of BT2's evolution z and that was pretty dumb. Its now similar to Budokai 3's system, but their aren't a lot of life bars now. That sucks to me because I like long fights, especially when I watch the computer fight each other. Now Energy Airforce is an interesting game. Its the game before Over G Fighters on the 360. Like that game, its a true flight sim, limited missles, limited fuel, flightplans and waypoints..etc etc. Now it might not be Ace Combat 6 [fucking hell..], but it's a good game, and I rather like it a lot :) |

As for what I've purchased lately: FF 1 and FF 2 for the PSP. Thoughts: Just like every other port of Final Fantasy, but in Widescreen. So you know, a little different, I guess? Maybe? Folklore for the PS3 Fun little game. Clearly a rough foray into how they want to do RPGs on the system. It plays well enough for an action RPG, and Keats is, yeah... wow. Badass. Cool concept, and I love the usage of Irish myth everywhere. |
It was a few weeks ago, but my last purchases were Persona 3 and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core. I haven't played Persona 3 yet... and I only got GGXXblahblah because my old PS2 ate my GGX2 disk (almost literally), so.... there's not too much to say. xp

And the loading times aren't bad. Not as good as GBA, obviously. |
