well, here's a big question me and my friends have circulating, and this can be a poll I guess, name 3 people you feel shopuld go into the Hall of Fame this year. I believe 3 names should be Randy Savage, Arn Anderson, and Owen Hart

Dave Scherer reports that starting soon the ECW brand will no longer be treated as a separate company but rather as the 3rd brand of the WWE. Little minor changes such as the women switching from being called Vixens to Divas and the males from Extremists to Superstars will take place. There has also been some discussion about removing the ECW logo from the screen and replacing it with the WWE logo. A lot of this is Kevin Dunn's doing. He thinks the fans are confused and don't realize that ECW is a part of the WWE and he says that's the reason for the low ratings. Also expect the product to be toned down a lot. Vince McMahon is not a fan of hardcore wrestling and he hated the RVD vs. Test match.

looooooooool.

which leads to:

Spoiler:
The big announcement on Raw will probably Vince announcing a Champion of Champions match at Cyber Sunday. (which the logo looks oddly like the Metroid logo to me :\ ) The stipulation for this match would be "fans choose" which title goes on the line in the match. WWE, World heavyweigh and ECW. Mixed with the above news, RVD will probably lose his title. Or if either "WWE" title is the one on the line, probably intergrated with the ECW one.

Slash Oct 15, 2006 03:55 PM

Wait? ECW was really its own company? When did they decide it was its own thing? Lets see..

Extreme Rules Match = Special...no
A titantron? no...
Rene Dupree and Matt Striker? no...

I seriously am not seeing how ECW was at all, during its run, its own company.

Former WCW pro wrestler Joseph Magliano, who went by the ring name "Joey Maggs" for a long time in the company in the 1990s, passed away earlier today.

mortis Oct 16, 2006 09:51 AM

I didn't hear about that one dagget. Sad to hear. Scary too...how many young wrestlers do I hear pass away compared to those who have hit the golden years.... Sigh...

Spoiler:
what the bloody hell just happened on raw?
I admit cryme time was hilarious, even the booker t segment was funny, but steve o and chris pontious? I thought they had TNA eating out of the palms of their hands, now they show up on wwe? Also, steve o laughing while getting beat up by umaga was a roflcopter.
Also, cena and that federline guy? prolly the low point of the show.

Spoiler:
Nice job dagget...then again...when was the last time WWE was...exciting and surprising

Mr.Ramen Oct 19, 2006 10:23 PM

Tonight is the last Impact before what TNA calls their biggest show in their history.

Slash Oct 20, 2006 12:18 AM

Major Spoiler for tonight ya'll
Spoiler:
BTW, Kurt Angle is going to appear tonight on Impact as a heel

Manny Biggz Oct 20, 2006 01:19 AM

I don't think that classifies him as heel. He's just looking for the biggest challenge, and Joe is pretty much it.

Corporal Kirchner passed away. :(

Balcony Heckler Oct 20, 2006 06:32 AM

yeah, I just read about that. it's a damn shame

Mr.Ramen Oct 21, 2006 05:28 PM

He's not dead.

TNA's biggest show yet is tomorrow, and nobody here is talking.

SD! Spoiler

Spoiler:
After the break Miz says he helped Kristal win because of what Layla did to him when he set him up with the fat stripper on his birthday. The Boogeyman comes out and The Miz pushes Kristal into the Boogeyman and runs away. The Boogeyman scares Kristal into laying on her back and The Boogeyman then uses his mouth to put worms into Kristal's mouth.

Looks like he's back! and just in time for halloween...again

mortis Oct 27, 2006 08:29 PM

J.oooooy, I guess on that one Slash. And well. looks like the Million dollar man is gone once again...

I hope you don't mean Ted Dibiase.

And for the curious, RL work has kept me out of this thread and I haven't watched RAW or SD in about 3 weeks ><.

He just got let go by WWE. Which sucks cause they had him on TV not too long ago with I.R.S. But it looks like he was wanting to go back being a minister or something.

mortis Nov 11, 2006 09:16 AM

I.R.S. was on? When was this?!

Anyway, shame he left. He knew quite a bit, especially being a second generation wrestler...

mortis Nov 19, 2006 01:11 AM

So...um...Survivor Series is shaping up to be crappy with many matches having only so much build up to them for actual teams. It also seems that they have done away with the idea of "Smackdown VS Raw" or "ECW VS WWE" and thrown them all on the same team.

Hmmmmmm....

dagget Nov 19, 2006 01:44 AM

That's ok. Impact was awesome on Thursday with some of the best matches that made me forget about WWE.

Survivor Series has been disappointing since 2001's anyway.

Slash Nov 19, 2006 11:24 AM

I dunno...looking at some of the SS matches, they look pretty good. I also think they're doing a bit of a test to see how Matt and Jeff will be reacted to by the crowd.

Erisu Kimu Nov 19, 2006 11:43 AM

I enjoyed the Kurt Angle vs. Abyss match on TNA. Everyone was going nuts and chanting Angle's name for a long time. It had a great ending and I can't wait to see the match between Angle and Samoa Joe. It's like he's facing Taz all over again.

Slash Nov 19, 2006 06:48 PM

I don't really think you can match Samoa Joe against Taz...

Enter User Name Nov 19, 2006 07:01 PM

Samoa Joe is the biggest Taz ripoff I've ever seen. Except Taz was actually cool though(in ECW only of course).
