3.10 OE-A is out.
http://boardsus.playstation.com/play...cending&page=1 Main feature seems to be: -4th brightness can be enabled without AC power Plus the additions that were included by Sony in their latest update (I think some web browser fix). |
DAX strikes again. Hopefully I'll be updated before I take off for work. Just remembered my PSP is only ~15% charged right now. =/
|
Well I transfered the files in the game folder. It doesn't want to work for shit. Do I need that GTA:LCS again?
|
Does anyone know how to get any GBA emulators to work (PSP VBA or gpSP)? They seem to be extremely poorly documented, and I can't get either of them to run a game. I'm using 3.03 OE-B, and from what I've read, you have to use KXploit to install either of these emulators onto the PSP. The problem is, whenever I try and run KXploit (I'm actually using Sei PSP tool, but KXploit doesn't work either) on the EBoot, it says "Invalid PBP file to write."
Nevermind, I just figured it out. I didn't have a GAME150 folder in my PSP directory, only a GAME folder, and I needed to put the emu in GAME150. |
Yep. All emulators are required to be in the GAME150 folder.
chato: You'll still need the 1.50 and 3.10 EBOOTs. Put both of those in the oeupdmaker folder, run from XMB. Transfer the generated DATA.DXAR to the oeflasher folder, run through XMB. You should be good to go. |
LOL. I found it amusing that the 3.10 OE-A info was posted on PSP's official forums =/ And it seems like the only discussion too.

Check by turning off the PSP, then booting up while holding down R. Configuration --> game folder homebrew --> 1.50 |

Just make sure you're in 1.50 if you run into problems again. 3.xx mode is pointless.
That R booting is the "recovery" menu. It allows you to change settings, but more importantly, if you ever brick your psp, you can fix it by following certain directions that use the R boot menu. Essentially, any version of OE is always recoverable from a brick. |
And that's what makes OE a homebrewer's best friend. But you'll have to take the plunge to GET to OE, but it's smooth sailing afterwards.
|
My PS1 games are ghosting A LOT now and it's straining my eyes >.< Is anyone else having this problem?
|
So far reliving PS1 is pretty nice, but I still can't play Um Jammer Lammy. This unemulatable game is driving me crazy.
Aside from this, I'm waiting for something actually worth updating to 3.10 OE to do it. I'm pretty sick of running these updates, so why not wait for soemthing good? |
So guys, about memory sticks...Is there any big difference between a regular memory stick duo and a High speed memory stick duo?
|
Some games will lag when they are being played from a memory stick. A good data-transfer rate may alleviate that problem. You should be aware that there are a lot of fake 'high-speed' sticks out there. Mine is a fake, but given the price, I knew it would be.
|
Damn, i've seen a lot of topics about the fakes one. Looks like i cannot buy from ebay as i was planning.
Anyone knows where can i get a genuine memory stick? I don't know much of the subject yet, but it looks like the sandisk ones are better than the sony's. I don't know, amazon? best buy? or any place where you guys know they sell original ones? EDIT: Checking the Sandisk homepage. Looks like they sell it themselves. I'll try to find more info about it. |
