Yeah, with pretty much any "group" of people I play with, the last few days we are just getting dominated all over the place, in any playlist. I still do fine in Multi-team (and seemingly SWAT), but everything else is me taking it up the ass no matter who's playing or what we're playing. I asked over on GAF, they HAVE to have flipped some kind of trueskill switch but it's still not calibrated right yet or something. Almost to a man starting Friday it seems it went to shit for pretty much everyone I play with.

Well I finished out with a 1471 for the day. I don't know why but I always can count on playing past 10pm EST to boost whatever horrible games I had earlier. Probably because nobody worth playing is on at midnight.

Yea, I haven't done much this season but I tend to do solo arena past 10pm and only on weekdays if I want to do well.

Haha, one of the challenges today is play a level on Normal or higher with Thunderstorm on. Clearly this means we need to assemble a co-op team and play The Package on Legendary.

Count me in. We can go look at the tribute room while we're there.

Roll with Auntie Dot for a while; I bought it because several people recommended it to me, and it is hilarious and awesome. She will sometimes call out things like "Jumping" or "gaining altitude" when you jump, and she has good enemy death quips like "vital scans indicate that you are dead."

I might get a new voice myself. I was using Cortana for a bit, and I liked it at first, but the way she says some things is starting to grate on me now. "Changin' MAGS." Lots of emphasis on mags.

Today's Daily Challenges include an easy 5100 cR that can be obtained within three rounds of Gruntpocalypse: 250 Firefight kills, 100 Firefight headshots, 30 Firefight grenade kills. If they keep throwing challenges like that up there, I might actually make it to Captain in the next week.

At some point we gotta get the gang together and do some Firefight Classic (non-mm). I miss those sessions we had with Daravon, Goodhand, Phong and all on ODST trying to see how long we could last.

Also people have been making their own little gametypes for it as well. Elite Golf Madness, Brutepocalypse (lol) Elitealypse (double lol) Hunterpocalypse (why) and some other shit. Sadly there is no Skirmisherpocalypse. Probably because nobody would survive it.

Blame MW2 for getting away with jacking up the prices on map packs. I'm genuinely surprised they're not putting in one or two Firefight maps and charging 1200 for it.
