I thought just holding A doesn't pick up items. I tried it with Falco and the stickers just slid by me. <_<

Also, semi-useful update regarding Assist Trophies:

Ray MK III - 100 Brawl Matches
Issac (Golden Sun) - 200 Brawl Matches
Advanced Wars Tanks and Infantry - 300 Brawl Matches
Barbara (Daigassou! Band Brothers!) - 25 Hidden Songs
Shadow - Unlock Sonic
Grey Fox - Unlock Snake

Slash Mar 14, 2008 03:27 AM

Mine has been picking everything up just fine. keep in mind turbo is essentially hitting A over and over and over

Lacerta Mar 14, 2008 04:03 AM

Bowser's A is just two swings, over and over and over.

Falco's A I think puts him in that spinning loop, which kind of ruins things.

Ah, LOL.
I thought you got pissed off and disconnect everyone when I went after you with Yoshi's final smash and killed off your last life. :tpg:

Fun matches though, Sonic. That Final Destination Match was a bitch though. <_<

Yeah, GG. XD Even with the lag, it was pretty fun. ^_^

And these people need to post up their profile names so I can add them to the Wiki:

AniMechanic
Colonel Skills
DarthSavior
Dr. Uzuki
Guru
Iwata
Josiah
Lukage
Miles
Mo0
Seris
SimDaddyGT
Slash
Temari

Some of them are pretty straightforward, but I'm not making assumptions here, even if your name is within the five letter limit.

I'm just Miles. Miles, Miles, Miles! Just to keep it simple. :3 Though lately I haven't been playing online. I feel the lag is only getting worse and worse. Like yesterday I kept getting disconnected when I tried to join badger's open game (2 open spaces) and when I randomly lagged out of an anyone match.

I've done everything on my end to fix it and it worked for a while but the lag issues continue. Last thing I can try is a direct connection to the router via the usb adapter but I somehow get the feeling it still won't help much. ;_;

If memory serves, there's at least two part sets you have to unlock by building stages. You have to build 5 for one set, and 15 (10 more after the first) to get the second. I can't remember if there's a third, but you'll get a notice saying if you've got all the parts. Hope that helps.

Only one blue challenge box left here, and I have this horrible feeling it's a song. Rest are red or cleared.

I've only got one hammer left though, and it's probably going to feel like a waste wherever it's used because there are several tough ones it won't let me use it on, which I think is lame.

...It used to be that I could easily hit my head on the underside trying to up-B (with Ganondorf) back to Battlefield in Melee. Now it's Final Destination that has that problem, which is even worse since that stage is generally more popular. :(

Pretty much. To get Parts A, you need to brawl ten times on custom stages; for Parts B you need to build 5 stages; and for Parts C you need to build fifteen stages. If you just build fifteen stages and then leave Stage Builder, you should get both Parts B & C (you don't need to make twenty stages total).

The conveyer belts should be in the 'Features' section during Stage Builder.

In other, non-important, news I finally got the 'Tunnel Scene (X)' tune! Now I'm on the hunt for 'Right There, Right Now' from Sonic Rush.

Jurassic Park Chocolate Raptor Mar 14, 2008 03:12 PM

Oh, my profile name is "Col.S". Should be easy enough. Sorry about that.

Interrobang Mar 14, 2008 03:20 PM

Pretty much what Kesubei said.

For those who need to rack up their KO count, you can use the same principle as the CD Factory. Create a small stage with conveyor belts leading to a block. Choose Lucario and set your opponents (preferably Jigglypuff) to be humans with handicaps of 300% and set the Damage Ratio to 2.0. In the stage, set it up so that the conveyor belts lead to Lucario's B attack. Leave it on while you're doing something else.

Keep in mind that KOs only count when there's a limit on the match. Go for either 99 stock or 99 minutes. This also helps boost your Brawl time, since it's multiplied by the number of human players.

Special Brawls don't count, either.

I'm not on that list, but my name on there is just GB.

Chaotic Mar 14, 2008 04:08 PM

It is now and it's crossed off. :)

I've been attempting, as of lately, to beat all the Target Challenges with one character. Can anyone recommend anyone fast enough to deal with all five effectively?

My guess is probably Fox or Falco, as their blasters help nab some targets easily. They've been my choice for most of the challenges involving completing in a given time for a certain level.

also, naz wins for having the best taunts. hahaha... i was laughing pretty hard the first time i saw his "i make it rain."

Haha, thanks. I still don't know how to consistently use the taunt I want to use using the Wiimote+Nunchuck (I'm loving that control over the GC controller now), but I have used all the taunts so I know they're all accessible. I mean, you can press 1, 2, and 1+2, but I don't know how I got 4 taunts out of that... maybe the tilt? I still need fool around with more online, but I can't find that info anywhere. Anyone know? Also, I haven't tried remapping buttons, but if the taunts can be put on the Wiimote's D-pad, I might go for that since I don't use it for anything else.

Iwata Mar 14, 2008 05:03 PM

my profile name is Iwata. Also added everyone that sent me a PM and that is on the wiki list.

wvlfpvp Mar 14, 2008 05:21 PM

So yeah . . . I'm on the thingy. . . PM me and such, cuz I'm lazy and don't feel like typing in anyone else's number after minifaces.

Animechanic Mar 14, 2008 05:28 PM

Hey Chaotic, pay attention man! I posted my Brawl nick at the same time I posted my friend code :P

Anyways, it's simply Ani.

Slash Mar 14, 2008 05:53 PM

Chaotic...I added your code and my code should be on the list. And obviously my "ID" Is Slash :-p yay for 5 letters (thank god it isn't 4 or 3 like in Melee)

Lukage Mar 14, 2008 08:40 PM

I'll think about adding tomorrow. I'm real picky about online play if I'm not really comfortable with it.

immp Mar 14, 2008 08:59 PM

Oh ya oops, this stuff!

2707 1335 1126(Vince) playing as ( ! )

Hellscythe Mar 14, 2008 09:47 PM

I'll be on later tonight if anyone is up for some wifing. Probably around 8~10PM PST. Just realized I didn't even post my brawl code in my last post.

Hellscythe: 1848-1369-3265 (MAC)

Slash Mar 14, 2008 09:56 PM

I got bored and remade the congo jungle level and the hyrule temple the best I could using the "create-a-parts"

immp Mar 14, 2008 10:04 PM

I attempted to recreated all the original 64 stages as best I could. I had some problems with the little "hut" thing on hyrule castle...if anyone has any solutions for that part. Really wish you could rotate the trangular blocks.

Kanzaki Mar 14, 2008 10:23 PM

I have a problem...and I know it is already reported and all...

But, after waiting one week after the release to play Brawl (because of school and tests), I insert the disc, and surprise, my Wii can't read the disc. OK, I will send it to Nintendo...BUT, I live in Mexico , no service here.

What should I do? is there any way to clean the laser? is there any magical device in wal-mart I can use? Should I go to a place specialized in repairing cd/dvd drivers and cleaning lasers?

(No fair -.-)

Thanks :P
