hmmm,

When Rey had his mask off, he teamed with Billy Kidman quite often. He and Kidman even won the cw tag team titles for the whole two weeks they existed (literally).

Goldust got released after he got drunk on the plane and started singing to his ex-wife Terri Runnells.

Anyway, DX vs NWO? No. We all know that the NWO will just be punked by DX. They will probably get the upperhand for one or two weeks leading up to a match. THen a DQ win by DX. Then DX will get them back. Few more weeks leading to a beat down by the NWo. DX wins and beats them in a match. THen DX beats them in a cage match/losers must break up. The end.

SonicEchidna Oct 6, 2006 02:24 PM

The nWo should not be put into a feud with DX, for the simple reason that the nWo didn't work the last time they were brought back.

Why waste time when people already know that it's a lost cause.

The first team to win those titles were Kid Romeo, and Elix Skipper. They existed for 3 weeks if i'm not mistaken.

The nWo didn't work last time because that was the time that Vince was trying to destroy everything good there was in WCW on WWE TV. Everything was tainted from the get-go. DO you actually think he would seriously let a rival company's main draw win out over WWE talent? LOL. He hated WCW that much. (and still hates it, because it's the only thing that ever truly threatened him.) The nWo could be huger than DX is now in WWE, and it would still end up getting trashed on.

Makes me wonder what this would have been like if the roles were reveresed and Ted Turner had won out instead of Vince.

Kostaki Oct 7, 2006 07:58 AM

The nWo didn't work last time because of complete circumstance.

Nash blew his leg in a match, out he goes.
Hall was released for the plane incident, out he goes.
Hogan was getting face cheers from people leading up to the Rock match at Wrestlemania, removed from nWo.

It was misused to a degree, but at the same time circumstance also played a major factor.

Slash Oct 8, 2006 01:17 PM

TNA has screwed any chance for there bringing back the original nWo by signing Nash to a new deal. then again WWE can offer more and all that jazz.

in other news, The Boogeyman has been resigned apparently

Ironically, he'll be training at Booker T's school

I haven't watched the WWE in a while now. Who do they have? Everyone left. Jericho is currently inactive, Benoit is injured, Angle is over on TNA, D-X is old news and not what it used to be. I mean, who are the guys to look out for now? I think the ECW show is doing a slightly better job with guys like CM Punk, RVD and even Test and Hardcore Holly. Everything else is just kind of mediocre.

I miss the days when Simon Dean wrestled as Nova the innovative wrestler post-ECW to OVW.

Jericho left to tour with his band.

The old days are over, sadly. I'd give anything to go back to those days. Even if I had to live the shitty life I did again. :p

I'll be damned.

Spoiler:
Kane is off Raw. I thought this was gonna be like Hassan all over again, but damn. Either Smackdown or ECW is getting a nice addition. I'm not too fond of Umaga...Samoan Spike? Bleh!

edit at 10:51: Wow, I didn't see that coming. Edge and Orton against DX? I'm a little surprised to say the least.

That match has already been scheduled for when they come to Hawaii later on this month.

Winter Storm Oct 10, 2006 09:49 AM

That fucking blew me.
Spoiler:
Nash AND Kane.

I suppose it's no big loss with Kane off RAW, but shit, he's like one of the few GOOD wrestlers on the roster.

I can sympathize with daggot, luckily things like WWE 24/7 exist, and video stores with massive wrestling archives -.-. And you know even though I watched wrestling during 'the good 'ol days', it feels like I took those for granted.

What the hell do you mean "Nash AND Kane"? Don't tell me he went to TNA too!

Slash Oct 10, 2006 05:27 PM

Spoiler:
Kane just left RAW...keyword RAW not WWE

Winter Storm Oct 10, 2006 07:17 PM

I know Slash. RAW is going to get intensely boring for me. And the outcome of that match wasn't even by fair means.

Sonic - while a nWo angle most likely would not have worked out, having Nash back in the WWE would have been a huge step towards doing things right.

Damn i thought Umaga was going to lose against Kane oh well maybe Kane can go to Smackdown and reunite with Undertaker and Become Brothers Of Destruction again

Slash Oct 10, 2006 08:23 PM

My response was to the posts about Kane and TNA

Spoiler:
I've read hes going to SD!

Erisu Kimu Oct 10, 2006 09:09 PM

Kane hasn't had a good run in the WWE for ages. He's been jobbing like crazy over these few years. His WWE title "reign" wasn't even something noteworthy. He needs one more WWE title reign before he retires.

Nash shouldn't return to the WWE. He's boring. The only time I liked him was back when he was Diesel and he held the WWE title for a year. But, even then he was boring. He uses only three moves or something too. I like Scott Hall more. Razor Ramon was a one-of-a-kind character, cheeko.

But, anyone is better than Umaga. I think pushing him to be a cheap Samoa Joe imitation with this undefeated streak is retarded.

Mr.Ramen Oct 13, 2006 04:50 PM

Nash was awesome on the last Impact.

She was on Dancing with the Stars and other shows in which she started to get noticed in the mainstream. Around that time, her contract was also starting to run out. So, she decided not to have it renewed as she focused on using the publicity she was getting for movies, dancing and the like...

I'm glad he's back. That was a funny promo/segment.

Balcony Heckler Oct 14, 2006 07:03 AM

what I'd like to know is if the WWE is signing the DX vs NWO feud, how can they do it without Nash?

mortis Oct 14, 2006 09:32 AM

They won't. It would be foolish for them to bring back the NWO minus one of it's founding members. That includes Hall, NASH AND HOGAN. And it won't help their (DX's) cause or the WWE's if they get booed because they are booked against what seems to unturnable babyface in Hogan...
