Again with dragging the episode. I bet the hour "special" is going to be dragged also. It's really killing the battle scenes so the tv series is going down for me. The manga on the other hand, I think it is coming out well.

I really hope the new episode every two weeks doesn't start becoming a habit. Also, have they confirmed a date on the movie yet or is it still Summer 2007?

You know what? If one episode a week is what it takes to avoid filler (again:mad:) for good, then I'm all for it. Manga based anime really needs to learn how to pace itself.

It's only fair that they show it every 2 weeks or even a month sometimes. If they are smart they would air episodes like One Piece. If they are getting too close to the manga (Which they are) , don't air it for a while.

As for the movie. I have no clue. Can anyone shed some kind of light in that?

chato, how is that fair? And so what if it's getting too close to the manga? People like me won't even know if it's close to the manga unless I'm told by other people (spoilers are bad). That's how I even bothered to notice that Naruto was in filler hell.

They can do a filler. But don't make fillers that take more than a year or so. Sometimes I think they changed the title is because of the garbage they gave to the fans. In the end, there are kids who don't really read the manga and just watch the anime for the fun of it. Another cash cow.

I'm just saying cause they spent more time working on that shit for two years when they could've done much more with the current episodes by making it widescreen and/or fix a few mistakes like when you catch a scene with naruto looking retarded. If you liked the fillers, godbless . But to many people who were impatient for the real deal, they just stuck with the manga until they get news that the anime version is back on track. So they do both. Nowadays, I don't even get the time to watch that many of these new episodes. I still have 4 and 5 to watch. The least I do is try to stick with the manga which I believe is getting better and a little shocking at the moment with the recent spoilers that I read from NF.


As for the hour special. Let's not forget a few things, jouhou. We have the Kankuro vs Sasori fight (hopefully it's not a spoiler for you) to look forward to. The only fight I think will be dragged is

And you think waiting an extra week for episodes is bad? Try The Venture Bros; it took the better part of two years to start season 2 (with only ~13 episodes per season)!

I'm of the opinion that monthly manga's are usually better paced when transcribed on-screen to anime, rather than their weekly counterparts. Monthly manga's transcribed to anime seems to have more happening per episode of anime as well... (again, my opinion).

Hmm, I didn't know there was no new naruto this week. And they were actually going to start fighting. This is why the anime fails. Oh well, I only skim through the episodes anyway.

Oh wow, well that explains why DB is tricking everyone with the whole Pokemon Diamond and Pearl thing. I wonder why they didn't announce it on the last episode...unless they've been planning this for a while now. XD

Its been I'd say well over a year since I watched an episode but in a haze of boredom I finished off the remaining 20 episodes or so of Naruto that I had not watched which was totally pointless, I was worried I might miss something important but alas no.

Regarding Shippuuden I am now up to speed having watched up till episode 19 its rather annoying not showing Naruto in training having fun times with Jiraya, but of course they are doig their very best to draw out each episode. Let me see 3 more episodes to beat Sasori and the clones, then another 3 of endless speeches and showing Naruto training and then 2 actual episodes of Naruto 'fighting' Diedera. I WOULD NOT BE SURPRISED. I'll probably give it a miss for another year and let the episodes build up again.

By the way does anybody know of any direct download links for where I can obtain the Manga chapters in medium-high quality?

You can head out to Mangahelpers and go to Naruto's "Latest Discussion" where they talk about spoilers and show pics. For medium- high quality places, It's either them or bludshock. Sometimes Tokyo Toshokan gets the raws early (in chinese though but quality is amazing).

Oh god huge event in chapter to come this week.

On the States' side, The whole Sannin Battle arc has finally finished. Now we move on into filler central for the next few weeks and I won't care to watch that crap though it was ok for only a one-time watch.

Why does it take so long for them to get their asses into gear pirating us the chapter before we should be getting it.

btw, Did anyone notice the new ED vid to Naruto ? It has Taison Maeda from Rokudenashi Blues(if that's him..) getting knocked out by Naruto and takes over class lol.
