Why Am I Allowed to Have Gray Paint Jul 14, 2006 09:37 PM

There's also still a bug where if you go into Edit Options and then save whatever change you make, your country flag defaults to USA, if you had it set to "none" previously.

The only way I can summarize any of my thoughts on a white theme all wind up as "They're pretty fucking gay."

They also blind.

90% is significantly more than a majority. :(

Can't stand 'em myself, but as long as it's optional, and the blue-on-blue that I'm used to doesn't go any place, what's the big deal?

the only thing that I don't like about having new theme is that it will make all my sig very ugly on those theme...

because I use blue background to "fake" transparency so I can save them in jpeg and don't exceed the kb limit ...

Yes, but I think that if more than 10% of GFF is against raising the minimum, then it's fair to leave it.

Apparently a feature has been added that makes closed threads turn gray. I don't know how I feel about this one yet, on the one hand it makes closed threads less prominent, on the other hand if I'm looking for a thread that may have recently got closed the gray would make it harder for me to find it.

Also, I just noticed: it applies to stickies also, making those less prominent, even with that big IMPORTANT: sticker there. Wouldn't it make sense to not have that affect stickies? >_>

I just read that whole thing, mistaking gray as gay.

THE GAY WOULD MAKE IT HARDER FOR ME TO FIND IT!

No seriously, aren't closed threads (with a few exceptions) already gay to begin with?

4 days late, but this had to be said anyway.

According to google analytics, 11.1 percent of GFF uses dial-up.

So if 10 percent of those people, a whopping 1.11 percent of the userbase, say they can't stand loading signatures bigger than 50 KB, then it's fair to leave it at the size it's currently at?

Ok.

Even if you include all members voting, 90% is way off base for a majority vote. Since when do 10% of people decide what's best for everyone else? =\

I said 90% (or 10%, however you want to look at it) of GFF, not 90% of dialup users.

I was trying to be fair to dailup users (having been one before), but I suppose 90% is a bit much.
