I'm all for that. Heck, I'd be even more for leaving it exactly like a regular name, but if you feel the need to have it displayed differently in some way, colour seems the best way to do it!

I don't think the display name thing is working for me. Everyone has their normal names for me.

You need to go activate it by clicking save changes in your user CP profile thing.

Try going to your profile and save the settings once?

Edit: Original usernames now show up as tooltips on avatars too, just to circumvent empty display names ;)
