Kung Po chicken counts doesn't it? I like that. There's a chow mein dish that I like it's simple with a veg I'm not sure what though.
Tried some Japanese beef curry or something like that, the beef was bacon-like, twas nice. |

I hear Richmond is good in BC. |
There are so many Asian foods that I like, but to name a few...
I really enjoy chicken and rice curry, especially the kind my mom makes. ;) I also love ramen, mostly the chicken flavored kind, but I also like the shrimp flavored. Anything with teriyaki on it is good (within reason, of course). Wonton soup is nice, as well as chicken or beef dumplings. And, of course, we have the Asian snack foods, which I love (i.e. pocky, hi-chew, yan-yan, etc.). :) |
Hmm, I like Tonkatsu and just about any Korean dish with rice and soup. I also like Korean BBQ ribs and Japanese bento.
|
Probably sushi, I like lots of other foods, but none are just as tasty

Just thinking about fried rice with Mongolian lamb makes me drool.... yum! :D
|
I don't know if I should speak out, but since I'm Chinese I know about a few non-Americanized dishes and Beijing duck is always a nice choice.

When I'm at work at the pub and get hungry, rather than waste cash on packets of peanuts, I go to the Chinese across the road who do me a huge bag of Prawn Crackers and a big old pot of Sweet & Sour sauce for £2.40. Tastes awesome, sorts out any hunger.
Other than that though, I'm more fond of Anglicised Chinese food than any authentic Chinese stuff. Lemon & Ginger Chicken is awesome, as is Crispt Shredded Beef. |
Pad Thai, Cashew Nut Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Sushi w/ wasabi, Salmon Sashimi, Crab Rangoons, General Cho's Chicken, Crab Crouqettes, Green Milk Pearl Tea, Szechuan Beef.....I can go on for days.....
|
I've just discovered that I really like Kamaboko, aka Fish Cake. :(
This really disgusts me, but it's too late. I love it with Udon and egg, so now I know what I'm going to be buying at the asian supermarket when I go back to Austin. |
Moo Guu Gai Pan. Chicken, all the different Chinese veggies, water chestnuts and bamboo Mmm! It's always been my favorite. General Tao's Chicken is good too, when your in the mood for something spicy.
