Oh wait.

Yeah except that most of the people here would probably be grateful for the rape.

I think it also stemms from a teenager's natural mindset of wanting to rebel against what their parents deem unsafe. I know several people who's parents dont' want them having a Myspace, but they went ahead and registered without them knowing.

I'm probably the only person in the world without a myspace account.

That site just annoys the hell out of me.

The most annoying thing is when friends(who by what you see on their pages) hang out with each other all the time, leave messages on each other's profiles about that party the other night.

It's like, don't you talk about it over the phone? It's obvious they are posting it so the world can read about their personal lives.

Attention whores.

You are not the only person. *raises hand*

Most Myspace's now are so bogged down with large images and horribly set backgrounds that it just looks beyond ugly. I don't see how you can navigate through all that crap.

Last time I went to a myspace page it froze my web-browser. I just wanted an .mp3... geez.

Lady Miyomi Apr 10, 2006 01:10 AM

This is the only real reason I hang around Myspace every month or so: Boom Boom Satellites. I'm determined to solve the mystery as to whether or not it's actually them.

splur, I've had several people's pages crash my browser as well. I don't even bother looking through other people's profiles anymore unless it's someone I know that specifically gave me their URL.

Dang that police officer owned 100 people. What uneases around these debates is when they mention "SEXUAL PREDATOR" wtf tentacle monster omg. I really hate how people make retarded profile comments on myspace " OMG I WAS AT YOUR PARTY IN SAT. OMG 'SEX TRAIN PASS IT ON OR GET RAPED" kinda shit. Not to mention chain letters in board announcements. Which brings me to all the board spam. People use it so much to get attention I.E."Im saddd :/ GIMME comments" . Especially the content in the pictures pisses me off. Tongue? nothx. Probaly smart to put group pictures to counter sexual predators..or wait...

DragoonKain Apr 10, 2006 02:59 AM

The only reason I go on now is to look at hot girls.

But I swear people are obsessed with this site. I know people who HAVE to check their myspace page everyday or else they go into convulsions. I just don't get it.

I find nothing entertaining about it, than looking for girls that look hot. But even then they aren't nudes, so it isn't even that great.

Fix'd =d

Every Myspace page I look at makes my eyes bleed. Loud blaring gothy metal in the background, peoples' picture pasted on the wall paper making scrolling down a bitch, font colored a color that makes it almost impossible to read, friends with over a thousand people who are just posing as celebrities... Ugh. I've yet to see a tame profile. I'll stick to Facebook.

I agree with that... i have friends in college that have that exact attitude... its like saying that if i dont go to GFF daily, i just die  ... i have a myspace account, just to have it... i never check it (maybe had it if they delete them by abandonement)... weird attitude of those myspace addicts :(

I have a MySpace but i only add people who i actually know in real life.
Me and my buddies use it just to send stupid crap and funny pics
to each other lol!

I've seen some people with like 50 bajillion friends.. and it's like,
why?

A Flase sense of Self-Esteem

Myspacer: I know so many people, I'm getting attention! Hooray ^_^!!!

It's exactly what some people do in real life, especially on High School.

I understand people talk to others but there should be a limit. I chat with a lot of people, I don't know about considering them all my friends and e-mailing them about my personal life.

Because they love the attention! The only reason I even go on there nowadays is when someone I know gives me their URL or I get an email from Myspace. Other than that, I don't care about place.

Speaking of which, I need to prune my profile...

Mojougwe Apr 10, 2006 11:22 PM

What makes MySpace so much more attractive than LiveJournal or Xanga? Is it because it's so freaking easy to add random strangers to your buddy list? "Oh wow, you read that I'm a hot 18 yr old chic in chicago. And you've replied you're within my area." And our dear replier gets a visit from a cop.

People post similar type of ordeals and crap on Live Joural and Xanga. But wtf is making MySpace the magnet of these weirdos who need to express their suicide?

Lady Miyomi Apr 10, 2006 11:24 PM

Why do people even post on Myspace that they're about to commit suicide? I've never understood that one...

DragoonKain Apr 11, 2006 01:06 AM

A friend of mine had sex with like 5 girls from there. Of course, if you are desperate enough to look for some action on the internet, then the chances are you aren't that good looking, and that was the case. 2 of the girls were goths, and the other 3 were just plain average girls.

But apparently a lot of people go on there looking to score, which IMO, isn't an accomplishment.
