However it's unfortunate that the game has not been getting the attention it deserves because all the media seems to be focused on around here is the last 2000 FPSs. And because the game is on the PS3 seems to be reason enough for people to damn any good game on the console.

Hopefully when the exclusives like MGS4, LBP, FFXIII, etc. come out it'll bitchslap the industry back into taking Sony and their products seriously. Therefore giving the likely Uncharted 2 the attention that I'm sure it too will deserve.

Funny you mention that, because Naughty Dog just confirmed that there will be a sequel.

TF1: At the end of the creation of a game, are there any "feeling-blue" moods?

CB: No, because I came to talk about Uncharted in France. I think that the game has a profound side at the history level which might appeal [to European gamers]. And after all, we're soon going to start working at the sequel. For that we need to sit back for a while and look at the game from a different perspective, in order to see in which direction we're going to push it. But the world is there, it's rich... So there's plenty of space for a new passionate title. Even better [than the first one].
 fucking right

So wait... if the demo had vibration support, does the full game have it as well? Has anyone tried it yet? :)

Slayer X Jan 6, 2008 01:58 AM

All you have to do is while playing the game do the following...

1) Open the PS menue
2) Under controller settings if you see vibration options then that title has vibration support.

2B) If you don't see such option then the opposite is true.

Chip Jan 6, 2008 02:31 AM

Well that may not be entirely true because it has that option in Assassins Creed, however, no vibration support is found in that game :|

This game is crazy. It must have taken them 8 years just to draw and render a couple yards of forest. I am at the part where you are scaling the outside of the fortress. Makes Tomb Raider and Prince of Persia look and play like dog crap.

Guess the PS3 really has some balls. Uncharted is true next-gen, with DTS sound to match.

I was extremely impressed by the sheer amount of LOVE in this game. Pure unadultred LOVE. It was fantastic to watch the "Behind the Scenes" clips.

What I find is this game has some groundbreaking animation. Especially the way it handled jumps and stairs. Rowrl. Yet all this aesthetic animation didn't affect the gameplay in the slightest! Seriously, even if this game is only 8-10 hours long - I feel it's the purchase of my PS3 was worth it. :)

I got Uncharted for about $35 off eBay and got it in the mail 2 days ago. I beat it last night. Words cannot express my feelings towards this game. It was absolutely amazing. I always talk about how games lack the cinematic realism they need to move forward, but Uncharted went and proved me wrong: This is the next step in games; this is where they're going.

I can't wait until Uncharted 2 to see where they take this.

Is there even an Uncharted 2 planned? While Uncharted is incredible and all, personally, I'd rather Naughty Dog work on Jak 4 instead of Uncharted 2.

I completly agree. I want Jak 4 so badly.

Though I have yet to play Uncharted... Since the PS3 is in LA and I am stuck in Australia.

I also agree with this. It's kinda sad that all these great platforming franchises were established in the last gen, but only one of them have made the jump to this generation. I mean, no offense to Sucker Punch, but a new Sly Cooper game would be worlds better than inFamous. And while Uncharted is a great game, I would definitely like to see a new Jak before another one is made. It would be awesome if they could just switch off every year like Insomniac does with Resistance and Ratchet & Clank.

Uncharted is good, but pretty hamfisted at times.
Especially when you can't find a good way out of a situation if you don't exactly find out what the devs want you to do.
And I pretty much hated the jetski-ride upriver.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to part 2. And even more to part 3. Up till then, they'll have found the right way to make this game awesome on ALL levels. :D
