Two things I will mention about water intoxication. First, the cause of death is not 'electrolyte imbalance' (it's a symptom), but a swelling of the brain tissue. The brain is one of the last areas of your body to absorb water. When it does, it presses against the braincase, causing you too lose consciousness, enter a coma and die.

Secondly, the woman would not immediately feel the need to go to the bathroom because of the amount and duration of her water intake. When your drinking water, at some point, you stop. Your naturally full, yet you do not need to go to the bathroom. At this point, continue drinking, and you'll end up with water intoxication. 3 litres (roughly) for a normal man is not that much if you start chugging it. Being a woman, her allowance is going to be lower, and less so if she is on any special diets.

No, she didn't win the wii. She came in second. I heard the actual audio from the radio show. Another woman won the wii after Jennifer dropped out. The other woman is fine. Jennifer won some concert tickets for later that night, but she never went, of course. The DJs got fired, I think. I know the show was off the air for a few days, while "people" looked into what happened.
