Well to be fair, my total game play time when I played againt Summonmaster was <5 minutes. :(

Freelance Dec 15, 2006 09:47 AM

Well, SM has been playing it online a lot, while this is my first time ever, so he already has lots of strategies set in stone already. He also has this really annoying Support in 2 decks that basically makes me totally vulnerable to his attacks. Hahaha, even he says it's annoying.

Update: Okay! When are we gonna play today? Got any times?

Summonmaster Dec 15, 2006 04:13 PM

All right, all right, settle down kids! I actually forgot to tell you to abuse your push block (X repeatedly during guard), which would have helped a little bit. Honestly, people learn fast. If I was really any good, then I would have managed a perfect victory, but I never did ;) It's also highly recommended to remember what items do, whenever I turn them on. Always try to grab the Jump magazines for infinite super!

If it helps, 3 on 1 (I think you can do that with the team settings) was a actually an option I was thinking about after yesterday's matches. That would be lots of fun, like trying to take out Giant DK, not that he was astoundingly hard or anything. Plus, I feel like some of my level 8 characters are cheating, even though no one uses them (Caramelman Z >.>), although the poo deck was totally fair.

Owned work earlier, and I don't know how to study any further for tomorrow's exam, so I'm up again.

Freelance Dec 15, 2006 05:18 PM

I never knew there was such a thing as Push blocking :D

Yes, although I was getting my ass kicked, it was still fun to play. Hehee, I made a new deck today. Prolly sucks, but it's a Naruto deck. Everyone says Naruto is crap, so I wanna try to be good with him. I'm like that >_>

I can't play right now. Dinner and chores and all that. I can play a little later. Hope more people play tonight!

chato Dec 15, 2006 05:30 PM

Alright. Got the wifi thing. So someone needs to let me know how I do this. (Haven't tried it in a while so..).

Freelance Dec 15, 2006 07:18 PM

Well come to #rtfo :3

As for connecting to wifi, go to the 3rd button on the top row. Now select the middle option on the left. Then click the first option and then the left button. That connects you online.

chato Dec 15, 2006 07:40 PM

Thanks for letting me know. All this other shit is kinda complicated in japanese. I'll be on aim if anything. That is if Im around ;p.

Freelance Dec 15, 2006 09:15 PM

Wow, did I have fun tonight playing with Summonmaster and Sakabadger. I tried out my two decks plus my sister's deck with them and it was cool. We need more people buying this game! >_>

Sakabadger Dec 16, 2006 03:39 PM

Ice got his wifi to work, so we played a few games. He kicked my butt :((

Still working on getting more komas. My god this game is LONG.

Lukage Dec 17, 2006 03:50 AM

*sigh* I JUST found a copy of Super Stars in a local store....nobody knows what I'm talking about.

chato Dec 17, 2006 08:10 AM

That's basically the first one that came out in 2k5 I think. Ultimate Stars is much better though.. Should've cop'd that instead.

But they don't have either game around here. I'm JUST NOW finding Super Stars.

Summonmaster Dec 18, 2006 10:00 PM

Yep importing is a MUST.
Honestly, JUS totally trumps JSS, unless you have a weird Mr. Fullswing or Shikamaru fetish, some of the supports they removed for a weird reason. Unless you want it for collector's sake or find it cheap and locally one day by some miracle, steer far and clear away from it. Thing with JUS is that there is literally nothing to do after you've unlocked all the koma (which can be done quicker since there's less in comparison). Wifi obviously boosts replay value of JUS and rival data as well.

Freelance Dec 18, 2006 10:09 PM

But I have a Shikamaru fetish :(

I never got JSS because there's nobody for me play with, and there wasn't any online mode, so there was no point getting it. Even my love for Shikamaru didn't make me want to get it. He's in Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen (I have all 4 games) anyway.

JuS is fun online though, unless it's against Japanese players 'cause they're too good. I played with Sakabadger and Icetron just recently and they don't like my Naruto deck XD I actually WON two times too!

I haven't played with three other people yet. Import this damn game so I can!

My friend code is: 545547194467.

Icetron Dec 19, 2006 01:37 AM

Sup. :D

My friend code is 0688-0598-4641. (cuz Saka made me post it)

added.

Summonmaster Dec 19, 2006 01:11 PM

Well well, this is quite interesting now :) As more and more people are coming out of the woodwork, the possibility of 4 player battles exponentially increases. Looking at most people's local time settings, getting together for battles shouldn't be too hard for the most part. I'm up for a battle tonight or pretty much any time or day after 6 p.m. today.

^-^ Dec 19, 2006 02:14 PM

Don't trust my time settings. I haven't changed mine since I moved, and Im in Florida.

As I said in the channel, this week is okay, but the week of Christmas isn't good, seeing that I have to work at 9:45PM-4:45AM on christmas Day (In the busiest section of the park, no doubt), then have three 10 hour shifts in a row.

But maybe I'll have the energy. We'll just have to see.

Summonmaster Dec 22, 2006 05:04 PM

Ok, I should have done this along time ago, to attract more people, since the curious ones would still need a little nudge in order to look up on what this game is actually is. So there you go, just as described:
Manga + Super Smash Brothers = Jump Ultimate Stars

So our 4 player battles have finally come to fruition, and unfortunately, also came massive lag. It was someone's connection though, and for the most part, the game runs with minimal lag online. Especially against some Japanese people. I'm going to have to start deleting some of these rival decks with all these different but subtle variations on characters. It's making Championship mode quite annoying.

Man, where's all the love?

If possible, can someone add a JuS Friend Code page at GFFWiki? Every other game has a page, so JuS should too.

Okay, I went ahead and made one. I added everyone from Summonmaster's list in the first post to the page, but if there's anyone else (well, I also need to add myself as well, but I haven't been online yet to have a friend code) I can add them too.

Lacerta Jan 4, 2007 01:12 AM

So, I snagged this at my local Fry's Electronics (yes, it is JUS =p~) and I must say some of these characters are so broken it's not funny (sup Lenalee)

Going through trying to unlock everything, dunno how I'll do J-Quiz >_>

Hopefully that isn't needed to do anything D:

Freelance Jan 4, 2007 04:42 PM

Yok yok, she's apparently one of the most popular (ie overused) characters in the game, and I don't even know what she looks like or what series she's in.

Lacerta Jan 4, 2007 05:10 PM

She's some chick from D. Gray-man, her specials are pretty strong & ring out worthy, and she has triple jump to get back from her psycho specials i think >_>

I got a friend code now~
