Actually the only one that ever went to X-box was MGS2, because it was near the PS2's release and it wasn't doing too well at the time. MGS3 was never on the X-box.

However what HAS been confirmed by Kojima is that they're going to make one X360 and one Wii MGS game after MGS4 has been made for the PS3. So these systems are still getting MGS games, just not MGS4.

I'm pretty certain a MGS4 port is going to end up on Xbox 360 at some point, but no official announcement on this has been made whatsoever.

just the fact that they mention a Wii version of of MGS4 made me lol at that article and call it fake XD You can clearly see that they really are not aiming at the Wii with MGS4.

note I'm not saying that there will never be a MGS title on the wii, but I'm pretty sure that MGS4 will not make into that console...

It does say it's going to come out 2008 for 360. That still means the ps3 will get exclusivity since it's coming out first anyway. *still believes in kojima's words*. A wii version would look impossible but I can be wrong. Twin Snakes looked amazing on the gamecube..

mgs4 for ps3 got push back to 2008 and there were never a confirmation about a 360 version, that's all rumors for now...

Considering the fact that there hasn't been any new news since April, there's no real sense in discussing about all the rumours flying around and calling them fact. Unless it comes from Kojima's mouth, I don't believe anything, too many fanboys out there to warp the facts.

Even if it will make it to 360, my concern is data.
Koji said they are consuming all 50 gb of bluray now how can such data be compressed into 9 gb?
Koji also said that "PS3 is theater(his new analogy), and 360 is home dvd system,and MGS4 is Theater type" in kotaku interview.
If he will make mgs4 to 360 then he is just hypocrite.

Moreover Capcom were always Hypos, released re4 on ps2 and dmc4 decision was no surprise. Mikami wasn't in absolute authority , otherwise he would have not ported the game as he said.
But here Koji is president he can control main decision and actions.

I am not denying 360 port it can happen but just like mgs2 it will take time(1 year approx.), thats my speculation, or maybe MGS online will come on 360 a seperate game for Live capabilities of 360.

Oh and you can view the trailer at the 20th Metal Gear Anniversary site. The E3 06 trailer does seem better, framerate wise anyway, most notably during the part where Snake is being chased/ambushed by the Gekkos.

Oh and interestingly, in the latest KP Report, Christopher Randolph aka Otacon mentions that they're actually doing the voice work as the game is being built (like for some scenes they're looking at the mocap work and have to imagine/visualize the situation, while performing). Which makes me curiously wonder if they're going to resync the mouths for the english voice overs...

I laughed my ass off when I saw this because it's such a doggie-paddle tactic that's mostly used by X-box fanboys. And just from watching enough of Kojima's adds and trailers over the years since MGS1 (and the elusive hints of ZOE1 before announcement) I bet you that Kojima did it on purpose just to stir things up and keep him and his project in the headlines till the game comes out. It's classic Kojima, he ALAWAYS markets to the fan community with things like this rather than using a mass marketing tactic. This screen snap could be interpreted in so many ways, all of which are most likely false.

Well all I have to say is that from the looks of that proof it looks like the game is no longer scheduled for release and that MGS4 has gone the way of GT:HD and left us with a nice little re-mastered video before closing down production seeing how the game is no longer slated for ANY console. Thank-you Konami.

Konami announced today that they WILL be at this year's E3 (as usual) and with a NEW MGS4 trailer. The speech and unveiling will be done by Ryan Payton of the Ryan Report done in Konami Japan's VA studio. And will be the first ENGLISH trailer for the game.

Sweet! Was wondering when were going to get one. I wonder if there's any chance of them (re)syncing the lips for the english version, well I guess I'll just have to wait till the trailer to find out. Man, I hope that trailers pops up on the PS Store.

I don't know if they'll re-sync it because the MGS games never really went in sync with the Japanese or the English VA very well so... yeah.

But a PSN release is a must. It would just be plain stupid not to.

And yeah, Sony will have all their E3 content on PSN.

Most likely since they generally sync it up with the Japanese VA first and then use a tool to automatically match the animation to the English VA which probably explains why the synch isn't as good as the Japanese versions.

Meanwhile collectors might want to break out their wallets since Sideshow is now taking reservations for the RAH 12" Solid Snake and Raiden figures. Schedule for release in Q2 2008 and don't worry, they'll only set you back $175 a piece.

Oh and is anyone else wondering if some of the characters will retain their accents that were lost in TTS? (eg. Naomi Hunter, Mei Ling) I personally would be kinda bummed if they didn't bring it back, since I'm partial to the performances in MGS.

They're supposed to be showcasing the full trailer during Sony's conference today which thankfully is being broadcast on TV thanks to G4. Although it doesn't really help me as I have to go work in an hour so I hope some kind of HD rip finds its way online...

I saw that too but the problem with CSC is that with their shipping costs you'll be paying just as much as Sideshow is selling them and they only charge $8.50 in shipping. That and getting them from the source will guarantee you getting them should they sell out which is why I ordered mine through them.

Hmm...I'm reading everywhere that the head of Konami just announced in his speech that MGS4 is indeed going to remain exclusive to the PS3, and it will be released early next year.

I can't wait to see this new god damn trailer.

Hideo Kojima announced that it was the last Metal Gear game he was ever going to work on. I wonder if the series will die after this.

EDIT: BTW G4 is showing the conference Live. Hideo said that the trailer is Realtime gameplay and let me just say that it looks just like a movie.
