It's nice to be back here to take part of more hard to get and great music. While GFF has been off I've still been on my endless search for great music and I've found lots of new great stuff to share with you guys! I love the title track off the new disc as a single but I can't say I'm feeling the album in its entirety.

I'm going to be posting some good stuff soon... Transatlantic, to be precise. I just got the extremely hard to find Bridge Across Forever and even harder to find SMPTe: The Roine Stolt Mixes in the mail, and I want to share the greatness with you all.

Those are rare? They have 'em on amazon. =p I only have the former, and frankly I'm not a fan (I hate Neal Morse). But I'll give SMPTe a shot anyway. Speaking of Roine Stolt, I think I should post some Flower Kings, and maybe some of his solo stuff...

The Roine Stolt Mixes aren't on there for anything less than $75, anyway. So there =P

And yes, Flower Kings are fucking GREAT! Do you have Flower Power? I'm dying to get my hands on that one.

I figured the Roine Stolt Mixes would be something different, so that's cool. I've got a few albums in the mail myself, hopefully some of it will be worth putting up.

If you've already heard SMPTe, it's not as different as I would have liked it to be... He basically just adds some nice textures here and there while bringing up the levels of his guitar throughout. It's a very Stolt-centric mix, giving SMPTe a more Flower Kings feel, but it's still very good.

I'm pleasantly surprised by Baloji...cool.

Someone indeed posted Birds of Fire a while ago, but I'm glad you re-posted it since I've been interested in checking it out. Great timing!

Also, digging that Parlor Mob CD you shared a few days ago. They have an excellent sound.

Yeah, to be honest I enjoyed Dig, Lazarus Dig!!! so much that I bought the album that very day.

A couple nights ago I gave Dave Tate a spin before I fell asleep...holy crap, he's brilliant. I've been telling people about him all weekend. And it only took me two months to figure it out. =p

Just as a quick update, I added The Brecker Brothers - Heavy Metal BeBop. I may add something else soon as well, we'll see what happens.

Also @ sprouticus: the links to the "Transatlantic" albums were 404'd. Any chance you could re-up those?
