I did not expect that from him. Me? Yes. Tails? Yes (if TP ever came out on the PS3 lolol). Acer? MAYBE, as a joke. But PsychoJosh? I don't know whether to feel something approaching warmth in the shrivelled and blackened raisin that is what remains of my heart (An unfortunate side effect of being a furry fan; you learn to work around it, though), or to feel a deep, unrelenting sense that the world has, at last, finally been fucked up beyond redemption and must be cleansed with great prejudice. |
Midna isn't furry. She's something else entirely.
and people are all like "but FUR" and I'm like no. |
I don't really recalled seeing any fur on her, she look more like of a shadow monster to me...
|
Has there been any word on an official OST being released? I'm very impressed with the soundtrack to this game, but all I've found is a gamerip at GH, and a crappy one at that (all sound effects are left in).
|
Nothing on a bona fide OST, but there's a thread in Audio Requests with quite a few well-ripped tracks.

Not that I have a problem with furries, but Midna's not a furry, idiot. I like her for being a dark, cute loli girl. |

They have something here also... A soundtrack released with Nintendo Power, and the 21-track unoffical one. Just ignore that one part though, I was looking for the Tales of Soundtracks and came across this. |

Sir VG 2.0 coming to a thread near YOU! |
Definitely.
Midna's cute and I like lolicon okay. :><: |

So how many times have you played through the game in comparison to the other titles as of now? I've completed it twice but I'll beat it again twice or thrice when my exams are over. :) (TWW: 3 times; FSA: 1; TMC: 1; FS: 0; OoS/OoA: each 3; OoT: 7; MM: 8; ALttP: 5; LA: 6; AoL: 1; TLoZ: 3) |
I've only played through it once, and I think the next time I'm even going to consider playing through again is when I for some reason are without internet access and have my Wii with me.

Midna's older form looks too geisha-esque. Her younger form is exquisitely adorable.

Do you recognise him?

Wow, this was the game of 2006 and the most recent post is from 3 months ago?
Anyways, I just wanted to say I am nearing completion of this title. So far I have 65 hours logged, and have completed everything except the Ganondorf stuff at the very end. Last night, I stayed up late and beat the Cave of Ordeals. It was a nice addition to the game: not to difficult but not super easy either. I'm not sure I see myself hanging onto my copy of this title though; I'm not sure what the point of another play-through would be. |

The other reason is likely because Nintendo is still having trouble getting Wiis out to everyone. A lot of people are holding back buying any new consoles until the dust clears a little, Wii included. Just not a lot of people have actually played the game yet. Besides which, my only commentary is how this game has the creepiest assortment of NPCs ever. Everywhere you turn, another freak is there to cheerfully greet you. I really expect Link to develop a nervous tic everytime the mail is mentioned. And let's not even start with Agitha. I KNOW you have bugs... |
By the way, concerning additional playthroughs, has anyone here attempted a 3-hearts/minimal quest?
I did and, though I must say I flew through it fairly quickly, it offered a nice challenge. There were some monsters that posed quite a threat, like that Moblin Boss that wields the giant axe (before Arbiter's Grounds), which could kill you in one hit. The Darknuts were difficult to slay too, mainly because in this case you purposefully lack all the special skills. Overall, it's a nice twist of difficulty. I highly recommend trying it. |
Ryunam, I love your sig... well, I love the album that your sig references, but I love the sig as well...
Anyways, yeah, I JUST was able to secure a Wii so I haven't even been able to pick up the new Zelda yet and I would be what you consider a hardcore fan (I already downloaded all of the other Zeldas on the Virtual Console). Granted I've already played the game on a friend's Wii... but have never had the chance to buy it. So I have a feeling that sales of this game will go steady for a while. |
I bought Twilight Princess a while ago and finally got around to playing it these past few weeks. I've only been playing it on the GC, so I hope that's okay since this is a Wii thread. >.>; Anyway, I think the game looks great and I haven't been able to stop playing it! I'm right at the end of the game at Hyrule Castle. I still need to get the biggest arrow quiver (damn that 2nd round of STARS. It's impossible *sobs*) and go through the cave of ordeals at some point.
Oh, and Midna kicks ass. I wanted to punch her at first, but I like her now~ |
Of course it's okay, that's just one of the problems that arose when all the gaming forums were merged...
I still don't know why most of the people like Midna, the constant 'Eee hee' got on my nerves after a while. The latter half of the game made her far more likeable, though, seeing Link growing affectionate (in a way) for her. |
Well, some people are really picky, so I wanted to add that just in case. Thank you though! ^^ I didn't find her little laugh that annoying, but I guess around halfway through the game she starts doing it less, so I forgot about it. Yep, if she had stayed bossy the entire time I wouldn't have liked her nearly as much. I think she had pretty good development for a Legend of Zelda character (not that I have played a ton of them. I plan to change that sooner or later *shakes fist*), so that's why I like her overall.
