I know that the challenge and fun of this thread is to make it hard for the others to guess what anime is the pic from, but come on!!!

Well, these boards are somewhat hard to keep up since it's not fun if every shot comes from a well known anime because then it's just a matter of who can hit the refresh button faster. and who can type in the answer and submit the post faster.

I do have a suggestion for a remedy though. If the shot comes from a more obscure anime, there should be at least 1 character in it. But if it's from a more well known one, any random shot is fair game. I know obscure or non-obscure is in the eye of the beholder, but still.

Anyways, I don't think level 1 users can post pictures, so, if you don't mind, I'll steal the turn away.

One recognizing this series heavily depends on how much he/she paid attention to it. It's pretty well known though.

I know this probably isn't going to be right, but I know I've seen it somewhere before. Is it Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal?

It's a rather lengthy series. Again, you'd only know this if you had bothered to go through all of it.

With that being said, I'm going to say its Kenshin or Naruto.
Because both of them had a point where watching them any more was just kinda blah...i would say its definitely in the last arch of Kenshin if so..but i don't remember boats like that

Since the only really lengthy series I can come with is Inu Yasha, I'll put that in as my guess despite dropping the series altogether somewhere around episode 50. Art style doesn't even seem close though. =\

I know I've seen that somewhere but I don't recall the exact anime, and I'm going to kick myself when the answer is revealed. I'm going to guess Slayers (maybe Next of the trilogy?...78 eps total) although I don't think Slayers is well-known :s

If it was in slayers, i would say it would be in that STUPID part towards the end of Slayers Try, not Next...but the art style doesn't remind me of slayers too much

It is indeed Naruto. About episode 175 or so during the filler where they visit the islands and Anko discovers her past with Orochimaru. Those are the ships that they were to protect from the Kaina.

Well Production I.G. = good animation. I thought it was going to be boring at first but I gave it a try since it's I.G. and ended up liking it. Great show so far.
