Online trading rocks. Anyway, I am sorta busy right now, so I just popped in to say I am in need of a Shuckle. Anyone got one?

My team is shaping up nicely. Still have of two more.

Dark Nation May 18, 2007 10:27 PM

Freelance: Kairyu was kind enough to lend me his Sneasel, so I've no need for a "Serious" natured creature right now. I am however, still ready for a ditto if you want to trade. I have a spare Chimchar, and will have more once I get the ditto to breed with.

Freelance May 19, 2007 08:41 AM

Ah sorry, don't have another Ditto :(

Still looking for a Shuckle (although I am having second thoughts now), and I still have one female Dragon Dancin' Totodile to give away.

I'm lonely. Please give me a nice home.

UPDATE:

I no longer need a Shuckle. I got a copy of Emerald.

scotty May 19, 2007 12:35 PM

I just unlocked the pal park only to discover that my GBA rom of Leaf Green on my EFA-Linker flashcard wont detect. Does anyone know a way to fix this?

BurningRanger May 19, 2007 04:36 PM

...buy the game?

Unless you're in a region where it hasn't been released, I cannot find a way to excuse not wanting to buy a game that realistically cannot cost more than $20.

scotty May 19, 2007 05:53 PM

Yeah I went out and bought it, but around here there is no such thing as deals or lowering prices after it gets old. All hand held games still cost about $40. I managed to find an old gift card with $20 on it anyways.

When I was at EbGames getting Soul Calibur 2 yesterday, I spotted Sapphire and Emerald and they were $34 amazingly >_>

If all else fails, try amazon.com, they're pretty good when it comes to prices.

Sin Ansem May 19, 2007 10:12 PM

I just got the game, but in an effort to get all three starters I kinda speed rushed the game.

Now that I got a water starter, I'm still looking for Chimchar or some equally good fire Pokemon, seeing as fire pokes are rare.

Here's something peculiar:

I've had no success in finding a Munchlax in the honey trees, so I figured I'd bring my Snorlax over from Ruby and breed it with a Ditto, the idea being that the offspring would naturally be a Munchlax.

The egg hatched tonight and inside was not a Munchlax but a fully evolved Snorlax, despite it being at Level 1.

And yet, my new Snorlax still knows all the TM moves its father knew: Curse, Rest, Return, Shadow Ball.

So what happened? Is it because the Snorlax breeded with a Ditto, or because the Snorlax is level 100? Is it because I've yet to find a Munchlax on my own?

I'm kinda befuddled here.

RABicle May 20, 2007 12:04 AM

Oh Crash Nintendo ahve to provide some ridiculous reason to explain that you coudln't get munchlax by breeding in previous games. Nevermind that I'm sure everyone could jsut accept "oh Snorlax has a preevolution now, he didn't before" Game Freak have to cater to the smartarse out there who would point out the inconsistancy.

So no doubt to get munchlax you have to attach some bizzare item to your Snorlax whenyou put it in the daycare. Who knows what this item is? It's probablys oemthing totally logical like a red shard found underground or a dusk ball or something really stupid like that.

If you're having trouble, I have a Muchlax of my own that I could breed. If I can breed it that is. Have to check up on that bit first.

--edit--
Nevermind. I just saw Identity Crisis's post below me. I guess I'd have to do a bit of paperwork and levelling up and all that for the Muchlax
and I bet others have their setups all ready for that sort of thing. I guess if you're still having trouble later I can take care of it, but
it wouldn't come right away.

That pretty much hit the nail on the head. Breeding with a female Snorlax that's holding a Full Incense item will yield a Munchlax egg.

It works in a way very similar to getting Wynaut from a Wobbuffet in the earlier games.

RABicle May 20, 2007 03:18 AM

It's stupid and I wont stand for it! This is like how he was to equip certain pokemon with items and trade them to make them evolve.

Hands up, who here just accepts that Electabuzz evovles now and before he didn't? I can accept that, I dont need some ridiculous new method that wasn't possible before to justify the evolution.

Freelance May 20, 2007 12:34 PM

*raises arm

Really, I don't see what the big deal is. What you're talking about is having a Pokémon evolve to a new Pokémon. Electabuzz never had an evolution before. It's not like you suddenly need a new item now to evolve a Numel to a Camerupt when none was needed before. Now that would be annoying.

I planted enough weapear and cornn berries to get myself a cape, a surfboard and black specs accessories. Now to get a fluffy bed with watmel berries :3

I still have a Dragon Dancin' Totodile left in case anyone wants one.

I'll take one :3

Do you have AIM? If you do, IM me when you're ready.
or when I'm online anyway, I'll be out for a while today.

Freelance May 20, 2007 02:33 PM

Oh yay, my last Totodile gets to go to a good home.

Unfotrtunately, I am quite tied up at the moment and cannot trade now. I'm at work, you see XD Tonight I will be available. I'm in the eastern time zone. Hopefully my connection won't be crap. I'll PM you later on.

That doesn't really apply since I knew before it was released. :(

Dark Nation May 20, 2007 09:36 PM

Thanks to Freelance for the totodile. I'll give it a good introduction to the rest of my "WiFi" box :p

Also, is it possible to have legendaries breed?

You're welcome ;3 If you want to rename that Totodile, trade it back :D

No, Legendaries cannot breed except for Manapy, but the hatched Pokémon isn't Manaphy. It is a less better version of it.

P.S. I have no more DD'ing Totodiles, but if you're very nice, I may be persuaded to breed more of them :3

Damm. I was hoping I could since I aquired a Darkrai today. Oh well.

Isn't the hatched one like 'phone' or something like that?

Freelance May 20, 2007 10:44 PM

Phione. Just off by one letter :D

Currently -trying- to trade with IC and not having much luck :(

Sireef May 21, 2007 07:49 AM

Hello. Does anybody have a Mew, Celebi, or Deoxys? I'm willing to trade any Pokemon that can hatch from eggs, excluding Phione, I don't have one yet. Also willing to trade a Suicune, or if I have to, a Lv100 Latios. Also, I have all the starters from all generations and all fossil Pokemon. Also, my friend code is 1676 0198 9543.

Freelance May 21, 2007 11:11 AM

Why isn't this thread in the RPG section? Pokémon is a RPG, isn't it?

My DD'ing Totodile evolved to Croconaw last night, and coincedentally(sp?), both Magnemite and Croconaw evolves at level 30, wooo! I'm levelling them both now.

IC offered a DD'ing Bagon to me yesterday which was awfully nice of him, although he is getting an Earthquake TM in return :D

Oh, I found another Leftovers today before work :3

Celes Chere May 21, 2007 10:06 PM

Hey, I'm far too lazy to go through this whole thread, but I have a Machoke and a Haunter that needs evolving. Would anyone be kind enough as to help me out? :D I could also use a Shiny stone for my Roselia to evolve.

I don't know what I could give in return though.

My FC is in my sig.

Chaotic May 21, 2007 10:10 PM

Phew...

I just got back from Ohio and a lot of training went down for me when I was there... I was supposed to have a tournament with my friends, but it never happened...

Anyway, here's my current team:

Infernape (67) [I did drop my original one and raised another one in a course of four days... Ended up passing my original. Although, I might need to breed another one for Nature purposes. A Careful nature doesn't work well with a Special Sweeper...]
Charizard (70) [I didn't drop it <_<]
Lucario (76) [Alot of raising... Still debating on movesets.]
Luxray (74) [Raised. I haven't touched the moveset for a good 20 levels now.]
Dragonite (61) [Dropped Empoleon for him. Due to the Docile nature, I'm still debating on movesets with him.]

On the fence
Flygon (60) [I spent the whole weekend trying to raise this thing... I'm still unsure about it's moveset and his role of replacing Charizard.]
