Deni, your confident decision to Just Do Something Already is an inspiration to us all.

Zeph, do you have some kind of secret plan or are you trying to get yourself killed?

Zephyrin Aug 30, 2008 02:20 AM

My character just has ants in his pants, that's all.

Don't worry. He doesn't like holes.

Anyways, what does it matter? This dungeon is fairly linear, and my colleagues aren't doing a dick of a thing.

knkwzrd Aug 30, 2008 02:33 AM

That's because we're out of health surges and daily actions. If you'd just rest already we'd all gladly continue.

Zephyrin Aug 30, 2008 03:33 PM

I'm moving, and I need to buy a wireless network card. I shouldn't have any problems with that, but just to be on the safe side, animechanic or whomever claims it first can control my character for the rest of the weekend (it's a 3 day weekend, too).

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Sep 2, 2008 06:19 AM

Come on guys, you know Operation Human Shield only works if everyone joins in. Also, I reckon that big old lizard is going to make a formidable ally when someone runs off and releases it during whatever fight we're about to get in to.

The unmovable stubborn Sep 2, 2008 06:57 AM

Argumentus has been Grabbed, which prevents him from moving. (He can still attack).

In order to break out of a Grab, he can attempt to Escape as a move action. If/when you attempt to Escape a Grab, indicate what direction you want to shift in should you succeed.

Bradylama Sep 2, 2008 09:08 AM

That's quite a man-train you guys got going on there.

FatsDomino Sep 2, 2008 09:14 AM

Guys, my character is hidden inside the giant lizard's second stomach. The acid burns. Please rescue me. :)

The unmovable stubborn Sep 2, 2008 09:27 AM

Oh Acer nobody is going to take you from your new house

You may receive some guests though

FatsDomino Sep 2, 2008 09:30 AM

Digestion Crew represent! [/thuglife]

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Sep 2, 2008 01:22 PM

What's the process in terms of combat turns for Bob to give the axe to someone? Can Gabrial grab it as he pushes past for example or do we have to wait for Bob's turn for him to actively give it away?

The unmovable stubborn Sep 2, 2008 01:37 PM

You can drop something as a free action (and you can do a free action any time), so you could just "drop" it into their hands as they pass, I figure.

Fluffykitten McGrundlepuss Sep 2, 2008 04:37 PM

Cool. Well if Gabriel wants it I'll drop it into his hands and if not I'll drop it for Soggy when it's Bob's go.

Zephyrin Sep 3, 2008 03:12 PM

Sorry guys, I will catch up tomorrow maybe.
I bought the fucking wireless dongle, my dad has the wireless encrypted, the door to the computer room locked, and the modem passworded. He's too dumb to remember his passwords, and while I bypassed the locked door easily enough (rogue tactics, ftw), resetting the modem would provoke much ferocity (troll style, at that).

All that would probably make more sense if I mentioned he's a trucker.

FatsDomino Sep 4, 2008 09:04 AM

Argumentus needs not dying badly. THIS IS NOT A TIME FOR PILATES, SHIN.

Bradylama Sep 4, 2008 11:06 AM

Hey, this is a rules question. Let's say there's a chasm or some other similar pit or trench or cliff face that falling off of would spell one's doom. The rules say if there's no space available that you can't bull rush something if there's no square you can push them into. So could I bull rush something and push it into a position where a deadly fall could occur?

FatsDomino Sep 4, 2008 11:17 AM

Good question and would doing that risk you falling in yourself if the enemy dodges or grapples you?

The unmovable stubborn Sep 4, 2008 11:17 AM

Absolutely you can do that. They get a chance to catch themselves on the way over the edge, but it's still worth a shot.

edit: There doesn't appear to be any way to "dodge" a bullrush per se, it's a vs. Fortitude defense so "missing" just assumes you bounced off the target like a chump. If they have somebody grabbed when they go over they get a separate roll to see if their hostage goes down with them.

Bradylama Sep 6, 2008 05:03 AM

Fuck I hate this hallway. I hate it so much.

Zephyrin Sep 6, 2008 05:15 AM

Can I move diagonal to be standing over Argy's body?

The unmovable stubborn Sep 6, 2008 05:25 AM

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeees.

Zephyrin Sep 6, 2008 05:59 AM

I wasn't sure, due to the corner of the hallway.

Bradylama Sep 6, 2008 07:28 AM

I take all the pain and Zephyrin gets all the glory, typical rogues.
