Okay so here's my theory

Spoiler:
Mohinder dies and Peter dies. Tough shit. So since that cannot be, Hiro has to fix history again. Things are getting much more complicated than they already are and everyone will be like wow what a great season

Spoiler:
If you see the preview for next episode, it has mohinder falling to the floor, which suggests to me that Sylar's telekenetic hold on him has been broken, I'm fulling expecting peter to him a decent fight. But I could see Hiro reversing time, but they are a long way from new york to know whats going on.

Infy Mar 9, 2007 09:10 AM

I'm fairly certain mohinder won't die.

but someone did mention an interesting theory

Spoiler:
Dr. Suresh maybe took mohinder off the list to protect him?

as odd an unbelievable as it sounds it would be pretty interesting.

peter dying is more believable. but it will probably end up taking sylar out with him.

My current favorite character[s] have been since the beginning of the show Isaac and Peter.

i don't know how big a spoiler this is, but if you've been watching within the past 6 or so eps you would already know.

Spoiler:
the fact that Isaac can use his power now without drugs is pretty interesting. and peter training with the Invisible Man [i forget his name] was pretty cool as well

favorite quote thus far.

YOU THREW ME, OFF A THRITY STORY BUILDING.

But he used them last episode when he saw his own death. Unless that was an image of Peter??!!?!

i was trying to avoid the fact that i havn't seen the latest episode yet. -_-

but nevertheless

WHATTTTTTTT

aznxinvazn Mar 9, 2007 12:06 PM

I'm pretty sure that was Isaac, as witnessed in the first episode.

agreed, didn't Hiro even say that was MR. EZAK

Sousuke Mar 9, 2007 02:19 PM

It was kind of ambiguous though, whether or not Isaac actually used the drugs. I don't know, it almost looked like you could take the scene either way.

Klaus Mar 9, 2007 03:49 PM

Is it weird that despite never having watched one episode of this show I like it. I keep up reading the Heroes Wiki and that's pretty much it. I will watch it at some point though.

Grail Mar 10, 2007 04:18 PM

Hey, there is one thing that I completely forgot about during the last few episodes of heroes that is an important part to the whole New York exploding thing.

Issac Mendez made 14 copies of "9th Wonders" before Hiro found him dead in his apartment back in episode two. It episode 19 is coming up, and we all know, I remember seeing it, Micah had one copy of that comic book way back in the earlier episodes.

The bomb exploding, Issac dying...they are all coming close to happening here in the next coming episodes...so my question is, if Issac knows he's going to die, why did he pen that comic instead of trying to prevent his own death? And furthermore, when are they going to show him drawing it?

The Wise Vivi Mar 10, 2007 04:34 PM

What I found interesting was at the end of the episode in the future and New York is being rebuilt.

makura Mar 12, 2007 08:19 PM

NBC is auctioning some prints of "Isaac's" artwork.
http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/auction/

I'm sure everyone is going for Hiro vs. T-Rex

==========

OK, it looks like they're doing a 6 part comic for Hana again.

She sure does show a lot of skin in the comic than on TV.

Hiro didnt know the specific time did he, so Isaac doesn't know. I assume Isaac creates it in his 'power' state so what he paints isnt really in his control.

I didnt think the Hiro vs T-rex was that cool, I want the nuke painting.

New comic episode is out, if you havent read it already!

This is only because I was watching this episode the other day, but when Issac meets up w/ Hiro, he sees Hiro's comic book and remarks that he just sent the issue to the printers. Which, makes sense if I have the timeline right. It's like a week, two weeks until Nov. 8th?

sabbey Mar 15, 2007 09:38 PM

I finally got caught up with Heroes and watched my DVR recordings of the show, but was wondering, is there anywhere one can download episode 9 and 14? Somehow those weren't recorded properly...

Either way, the show seems to be heading in a direction that I couldn't foresee. While, some things were plenty obvious. Hoping, that seeing the above two episodes will help a bit more, with getting my head around the series. Pretty freaky stuff! ;)

makura Mar 15, 2007 11:03 PM

Try oliv3r.net That's where I get my eps instead of torrents.

sabbey Mar 15, 2007 11:25 PM

Thanks! Looking forward to watching these episodes...

Why do I get the feeling this episode will cause even more questions and headaches attempting to answer them :D

Menzoberranzan Mar 21, 2007 06:01 AM

By the current trend of Heroes and TV show season endings, I am pretty sure it'll be a big OMG cliff hanger. Either someone gets hurt bad, a whole bunch of people appear, a new thread appears or potatoes start jumping (Ignore that last bit).

Genthar Mar 21, 2007 02:30 PM

Aha! Maybe that's what they want you to think but really it won't have any cliff-hanger, world-spanning revelations or even an advance of the plot.

Aw who are we kidding? It'll be a mindfuck!

Gwenn83 Mar 21, 2007 04:36 PM

Heroes is great and all but the cliffhangers are getting extremely old. I'm almost starting to lose interest now, I'm tired of being left on the edge of my seat, I'd like some answers! :p

Sylar/Peter theory:

Spoiler:
I don't think Sylar will succeed in killing Peter off. If you watch the preview of the next episode you'll see a flash from a scene where Peter has a wound on his forehead, blood dripping, only Sylar isn't doing any actual cutting. This either means that Sylar stopped it himself (unlikely) or that Peter used one/some of his powers (more than likely). Also, as some of you mentioned earlier, there is the scar theory which directly points to him actually surviving the attack. In addition to the scar theory, since Peter has a much worse time of activating his skills than Sylar has, it might be possible that he'll NOT be able to regenerate at that moment, thus producing a scar.

I personally don't think Mohinder will manifest any abilities at that moment, although I will keep my mind of him actually having super powers open.

Anyway, this show keeps getting better and better. Also, on a side note, the producers seem to take their time to read fan theories etc. to make the show better, thus being able to meet their viewer's expectations. I just hope they'll be able to keep it up.

dusk Mar 24, 2007 01:22 AM

I'd just like to take a moment to thank NBC.com for putting ALL the episodes online on their site. Without them, I wouldn't have caught up with this awesome awesome awesome show.

I just finished watching the 18th episode... my friggin' gawd...

Spoiler:
I swear if Peter doesn't kick Sylar's ass... HELL2PAY.

In other news, I'm thinking of getting the helix tattooed on my wrist. I'm so in love with the symbol and I don't know why. I want Hiro's sword hilt version, not Jessica's version, tho.
http://heroeswiki.com/images/0/00/Symbol_sword_hilt.jpg
Think I'll get it done in just plain black ink fill... hmm...

Also, I don't think the end of the season will be a cliffhanger like most people are thinking. I read on the HeroesWiki that Kring says the season is going to be about one storyline, and the next season will be about a new, different storyline, like FOX's 24 does. I don't care what way the show's seasons goes. It has so much potential, I believe it can do anything and be awesome.

...Until the writers start running out of ideas. ;_; *knocks on wood*

SPEAKING of 24... I hate to admit it, but I gave up watching this season to catch up with Heroes. I'm a traitor, I know. BUT CAN YOU BLAME ME?! (No, you cannot.) 24's getting kinda... boring! *avoids barrage of stones*

Genthar Mar 24, 2007 10:11 AM

Boring??! Are you mad? Come out from behind that cover and be pelted with my stones! 24 will never be boring as long as Jack Bauer gets medieval on terrorist ass! :D

Indeed- if more shows followed the 24 model we wouldn't be let hanging when so many shows get cancelled. While yes, there have been cliffhanger endings to 24, the main story gets wrapped up by the end. I'm talking about such unendings to recent cancellations of E-Ring and Blade: The Series- so much left unanswered- this won't happen in 24 and I'm glad that the producers of Heroes recognise this and won't let an "unending" befall Heroes when it's time comes- which I hope is a long way off.

I think it would be cool for Mohinder to develop a sort of "Bloody Mess" power ala Fallout :). He could just activate it with his mind. Accidentally set it off on Sylar or something....

Nah. Actually I think the plot is better off w/ Mohinder having no powers. I think it's more interesting when you have at least one main character who does NOT have any of these powers.

---

This show has EXACTLY the right amount of predictability/surprise for me. I'm surprised by relatively minor plot points, and on rare occasion, the larger ones. It's not so random that I can never predict what will happen next, which is unpleasent for almost anyone. But when I am surprised, it's always one of those "omigosh, YESSSSSSSS!!!! can't believe they are doing this" sort of surprises :).
